Description

By focusing on specific topics and using students within the same clubs as control, the project leadership can conduct a controlled study of learning that occurs on those topics and thus investigate whether the students learn mathematics from the experience of developing video tutorials. The Glasgow University Crypto Club is a student-led initiative that allows students from a range of academic disciplines and experience levels to build a community within this part of the blockchain. Cryptography requires mathematics such as multiplication, division with remainder, common factors and large prime numbers. It provides opportunities to explore important topics through informal activities that promote cooperative learning. By bidding on, or purchasing this item, you are agreeing to us sharing your name and address details with that 3rd party supplier to allow us to fulfil our contractual obligations to you.

Students who usually do well in math thrive in CryptoClub because it uses mathematics related to what they study in school. Personalised logo will be provided for you to use throughout your marketing materials to demonstrate your credentials to prospective clients. Using mathematics to encrypt a message makes it easier for the sender to communicate to the recipient how the message should be decrypted.Student-friendly ways to create the tutorials are developed and best practices for incorporating tutorial making in CryptoClub programs are investigated. In CryptoClub, students use mathematics to encrypt with some of the classical ciphers and they look for patterns in encrypted messages that can help them crack the ciphers used. There are opportunities to be ranked as a provider of excellence with our editorial programmes including the Top 50 crypto professionals. We don’t share your credit card details with third-party sellers, and we don’t sell your information to others.

The flexibility of the after school setting provides the opportunity to experiment with content and technology. Students enjoy the problem solving involved with cracking, decoding, and encoding the various ciphers as they gain understanding of an exciting real-world application of mathematics. Others are part of afterschool programs through organizations such as YMCA, Boys and Girls Clubs, and 4H.

In this project, the learning in fifteen Crypto Clubs is extended by having the students generate tutorials that explain how they solve mathematics and cryptographic problems. The club meets quarterly, and it will be open to its members only, with all events organised weekdays from 6:30 PM in Central London locations.
