Players take turns in selecting tiles from the round tile factories which are drawn randomly from the bag, 4 tiles to a factory. Each turn, players choose a colour and take all tiles of that colour from one of the factories or from the middle pile if there are tiles there. The game is played over a series of rounds, with the player who scores the most points at the end of the game being declared the winner. At the end of each round, players score points based on the completed patterns and lose points for any leftover tiles.

Players must carefully consider which tiles to draft and where to place them on their player boards to maximize their score and prevent penalties.
