Players take turns in selecting tiles from the round tile factories which are drawn randomly from the bag, 4 tiles to a factory. Join the community and come discuss games like Codenames, Wingspan, Brass, and all your other favorite games! Each turn, players choose a colour and take all tiles of that colour from one of the factories or from the middle pile if there are tiles there. The game is played over a series of rounds, with the player who scores the most points at the end of the game being declared the winner. At the end of each round, players score points based on the completed patterns and lose points for any leftover tiles.

Players must carefully consider which tiles to draft and where to place them on their player boards to maximize their score and prevent penalties. We have a great selection of board and card games for all and are always happy to offer recommediations too! By carefully drafting the correct quantity and style of tiles, the most clever of artisans plan ahead to maximise the beauty of their work (not to mention their scores!

As the game progresses, things get harder as you can only place tiles on the left hand side row if you don’t already have that coloured tile on display in your wall on the right hand side. Every decision impacts your opponents' options, so choose wisely to gain an advantage without helping your rivals. Players score an extra 5 points for any completed rows, an extra 7 points for completed columns and an extra 10 points if you have completed a colour collection. The quality of the components and thought which has gone into making this travel sized version make this a must own mini game!

Its small size and simple mechanics make it a great choice for beginners, while its strategic depth will keep experienced players engaged and coming back for more. For a two player game you place 5 factories out, for a 3 player game you place 7 factories our and for a 4 player game you use all 9 factories.Designed by the world famous, Michael Kiesling and illustrated by acclaimed artist, Chris Quilliams, Azul invites players to Portugal where as a master artisan, the aim is to create a mosiac fit for a monarch! In this game, you assume the job of a tile-laying artist, hired to embellish the walls of the Royal Palace of Evora. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Players will score their tile placing as normal in the final round but before the game ends there are some end game scoring factors to be taken into account.

We reserve the right to substitute one mail service for another if it is equivalent and will result in the games being delivered faster than by Royal Mail. Later in the round, players score points based on how they've placed their tiles to decorate the palace. The mechanics of the game are simple to understand, making it accessible to both children and adults.

Players take it in turns to draft decorative tiles from suppliers and then score points for completing certain patterns and sets, but any surplus azulejos will come at a detriment to the artist. Every game is different thanks to an ever-changing array of tiles that appear in each round to be claimed, ensuring that you'll keep coming back time and time again to chase that big score. The team at Next Move have created this mini version of the classic game for Azul on the go – Azul Mini!

As a tile-laying artist, you have been challenged to embellish the walls of the Royal Palace of Evora.Part of the Modern Classics range celebrating the must-have titles defining the industry, it remains as accessible and enjoyable as ever, with a wide range of expansions and spin-offs available for a new generation of fans to discover. Catan won the coveted Spiel des Jahres (Game of the Year) award in 1995 and its worldwide success helped to usher in a new 'golden age' of board games.
