My laptop connects successfully with the sd card when it is in the camera and I can view the pictures remotely on the laptop in the folder I have Flash Air II for over year and works great most of the time. I enable my OMD E-M5 manual so that it does not drain my battery but transfer is not great. In the app select the FlashAir tab (rather than the "Device" tab)
