The side venting zips never worked for me, I ended up taking a separate fleece for the walk in as was always over heating. I think they are much better if they have a zip all the way down the front you can open. This size chart features leg length measurements that increase in length as the waist size increases. This size chart is appropriate to this pant, but may be different for other pants. New legwear in the range from February 2023 onwards feature an updated size chart.

I’m not a mountaineer and have no plans to scale vast, freezing peaks. Far too high and scary. But those of you brave mountain climbers will find the hood provides ample room for a helmet. If you intend to use the Extreme for hiking, or treks, I recommend you adjust it down to a snug fit before you set off. Why? Like the Buffalo it’s Pertex with pile, so breathable and relies on the really tight weave to repel most water. The interior pile means you don’t get wet feeling unless it’s monsoonal.My one gripe would be the velcro hood connection, it is easy to dispactch your hood when removing slings. I have added a couple of buttons and all is fine. But usually its a one stop shop for me. I don't like getting cold and so far this winter I haven't.
