Interestingly, the listing on Edelweiss excludes the tagline stating that Path of Vengeance is the “thrilling conclusion” to Phase 2 as seen in other listings at the time of writing. Taking that line literally was never going to pay off, as even if Path of Vengeance concluded the Path of the Open Hand’s storyline, there were surely going to be comics released beyond that May 2 date. And sure enough, Marvel’s mainline The High Republic series as well as Dark Horse’s The High Republic Adventures will run past that date, but are likely to end in May or early June.

One-Man Army: In the first timeline, Kaito pretty much became one. While he is no longer the world's strongest due to the Depower of the second timeline, he remains capable of taking out entire bands of mid-level knights and mercenaries. The volume of their voices, pronunciation, pitch, and speech intonation perfectly matched their personality. Adding these aspects to the mental image that I already have of them made it so easy to picture the scenes where they were involved. The best way to avoid this dilemma is to make your target nebulous, such as "chaotic wizards" instead of "Halaster" or "demonic influence" instead of "Demogorgon". Not only are these "War on Terror"-esque threats that will never really go away, they are also nice broad storymaking exercises (e.g., What happens when you encounter a Chaotic Good Wizard who is nonetheless misusing his power without sanction? What happens when your interrogation victim admits he consorted with demons, but did so for a good cause?). New Game Plus: In a very sense, after discovering his reward for defeating the demon overlord in his first playthrough was a grimdark Cruel Twist Ending, Kaito is given a second chance through time travel (restart the game), but chooses the Evil path in an attempt to invert the ending trope. He's literally lost all his levels and even has an experience point debt (from being, well, dead), but retains achievement bonuses that put him above the mooks. Instead of a big battle where dozens of important characters are involved, this story is more about the power dynamics within the Path of the Open Hand and the relationships of its members. The Hero Who Seeks Revenge Shall Exterminate With Darkness where the protagonist was betrayed by their comrades and suffered through many traumatic experiences, later becoming a powerful Anti-Hero/ Villain Protagonist that seeks revenge on their traitors. Much of that journey of self-discovery comes from her experiences both on and off-planet — from the mysterious and Force-soaked world of Planet X to the caves-turned-catacombs of Dalna during the Night of Sorrow. The tenets of the Oath of Vengeance vary by paladin, but all the tenets revolve around punishing wrongdoers by any means necessary. Paladins who uphold these tenets are willing to sacrifice even their own righteousness to mete out justice upon those who do evil, so the paladins are often neutral or lawful neutral in alignment. The core principles of the tenets are brutally simple. Marda is the true star of Path of Vengeance— she’s also the key figure on the cover, with Jedi Oliviah Zeveron and Matty behind her. Over the course of phase two, Marda evolved from an innocent and naive girl into a young woman who takes what she wants and refuses to bow to anyone. Shield Master. Paladins love fighting with a sword in one hand and a shield in the other, so amping up your shield-using skills makes sense.

I have not write any review before but for someone to love reading, I thought I should write one for this novel and It won't be a good one. Before you start to read if you are younger than 24 years old than you may choose not to read this review because younger generations mostly have different perspectives and expectations so... Their paths are fraught, their positions as fragile as their psyches, and their journey through the hellish cult they find themselves entwined in is compelling reading. This enthralling follow up to Path of Deceit finds cousins Marda and Yana Ro bound by blood but driven apart by faith. This Phase has been infused with a truly massive amount of new Star Wars lore as well as a slew of characters that have added their respective songs to the brilliant melody of this initiative. However, as fans eagerly await the return of the survivors of Starlight Beacon in this Fall’s third Phase, the question of Phase II’s ultimate purpose still lingers in the air. Minnalis is an expert in illusions to disguise one's self and was taught how to do so by her mother to hide her race from Fantastic Racists.Fight the greater evil,” the paladin recited dispassionately. “I will not waste my time trifling with lesser evils—you are my target. I admit, I have my fears. Any one of the faithless scum you employed may blossom into another tree of evil. But I must not let my qualms get in the way of exterminating the greater evil. And that is you.” Hunter's mark adds 1d6 damage per hit, so if the paladin marks a foe and hits it all three rounds, the damage looks like this: Fair-Weather Friend: Minnalis's human father seemed to be a loving one for most of her life. But she inherited her beastman mother's race in a Fantastic Racist village. When her race was exposed, he abandoned them and let them get taken by slavers. Aerostar: For oath of vengeance, havethem detail exactly who killed their parents and why. Was it an evil temple, a thieves guild, some dark conspiracy? Perhaps they possessed some crucial piece of knowledge or magic an enemy needed. Then give the PCmultiple quests to discover who did it (maybe they need the help of a rogue/inquisitive or a wizard of the divination school), why they did it, where they are, and what needs to be done to capture or kill them. Are the murderers part of a major plot in the campaign or a side quest you can ramp up to get things moving or change the pace? Perhaps the death of the parents was part of some larger plot that leads the party to its major villain?
