With intricate drawings waiting to be coloured, embellished, and completed, the book also presents a delightful challenge of finding hidden objects throughout the pages. I found that the illustrations are ideal for testing out colour schemes and techniques ready for doing my ‘best’ version in my copy of Enchanted Forest but this is also a great stand-alone journal. It comes in a really nice gatefold sleeve, with embossed gold highlights, underneath a very sturdy, thick brown cover with an intricate design.
