Thanks @lindahermansphotography for this fab image. And thanks @drinksanddan for another fabulous serve. The rums under the Lost Years banner are a celebration of the Caribbean's centuries-old rum-making traditions. They are a curated blend of rums sourced from distinguished distilleries across the region. Each rum is chosen for its unique character and flavour profile, ensuring that the final product is a harmonious blend of the best the Caribbean has to offer. Where they go during these ‘lost years’ is one of nature’s great mysteries, but what we do know is that these ancient creatures are today in danger of extinction and, without our help, could soon be lost forever. It took over a year to make the Lost Years dream a reality – sourcing incredible rums from some of the region’s most revered distilleries and partnering with non-profit SEE Turtles to ensure every penny raised makes a difference. Classically English with a twist, it’s the taste of victory in a glass - supercharged with our epic and multi award-winning Navy Strength Rum!

To commemorate this momentous occasion we’re raising our glasses with a special Lost Years serve called ‘Spirit of England’. It's then a simple two-step process - first make up an iced tea concentrate, chill it in the fridge, then add the rest of the ingredients to create the final drink. For a stronger unaged rum, try our award-winning Navy Strength, bottled at a formidable 54.5 percent ABV. Leaving the nutmeg to one side, shake all the ingredients together, then pour over ice into a high ball glass. Sprinkle nutmeg on top and serve. HOW: Shake all with ice / Double strain over either crushed ice or a large cube (whatever you prefer) in a glass according to your serving of choice.Lost Years Rum was launched by husband and wife team Lee & Trudy Smith in November 2020. The idea was hatched on a family holiday in Jamaica, the Caribbean island famed not only for its fine rum, but also for its sea turtles. The pair can’t take all the credit though – the inspiration in fact came from their young son, Billy, who has adored sea life and particularly sea turtles for as long as he can remember. Ace your serve this World Rum Day with this Wimbledon-inspired beauty! It’s time for English tea with a Lost Years Caribbean twist. 🎾 Lost Years is the spirits brand with a purpose – a range of exceptional rums devoted to saving endangered sea turtles

HOW: Add all ingredients to your glass / Fill halfway with crushed ice / Churn or swizzle until well mixed / Add more ice until full. Dee is also a hugely passionate sustainability campaigner. She led ‘Turn the Tide on Plastic’, the first mixed gender youth team to compete in the Volvo Ocean Race 2017/18, a campaign that raised awareness of plastic pollution in our oceans and inspired people to act in their day to day lives. She is also an adviser to A Plastic Planet, a charity fighting to reduce the use of plastic worldwide. Our multi award-winning signature blend, Four Island, is a union of world-class single estate rums made from two different base ingredients, molasses and fresh sugar cane juice.Lost Years Arribada is a luxurious blend of fine aged rums from Panama, El Salvador, Venezuela, Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic. Column distilled and tropically aged in white oak barrels for between five and eight years, the result is a wonderfully mellow, warm and spicy Latin American rum which can be sipped neat or enjoyed any way you like it. Naturally dry in finish, it's already proving a hit with whisky drinkers! Our multi award-winning signature blend, Four Island, is a union of world-class single estate rums made from two different base ingredients, molasses and fresh sugar cane juice. We’ve married three wonderful barrel-aged rums – an eight-year-old rum from the legendary Foursquare Distillery in Barbados, a five-year-old from the Dominican Republic and a two-year-old pot still rum from a multi-award-winning estate in Jamaica. The multi award-winning Lost Years range comprises world class white and golden rums sourced from some of the most revered distilleries in the Caribbean. We’re raising a glass to World Daiquiri Day today with this gorgeous Lost Years take on the classic. All our destinations provide bareboat and skippered sailing holidays. Flotilla charters and sailing schools are only offered in selected destinations, these are indicated by the icons below:

This unrivalled blend offers the best of both worlds – a luxurious amber liquid that combines the rich woody flavours of great aged rum, with the fresh earthiness of unaged Rhum Agricole. We are excited to announce a new partnership with Lost Years Rum, an award-winning spirit brand with a purpose. What is its purpose? To create a range of outstanding rums, devoted to saving endangered sea turtles. Why? Each year thousands of newly hatched sea turtles scramble across tropical beaches and disappear beneath the ocean. If this has given you inspiration to get on board and make the most out of your precious holiday time, then take the helm and build quote for a sailing adventure that is right for you!

Made with our versatile, award-winning Silver Moon rum from Jamaica and Barbados, it's a delicious and simple serve with an autumnal flavour burst coming from the raspberry liqueur and fresh raspberries. A pure, unaged blend of traditional Coffey column still rum from Jamaica, married with a high-ester pot still rum from one of the most revered distilleries in Barbados, Navy Strength is a punchy unaged rum with the natural sweetness of molasses. Here at Lost Years Rum we’re all about ‘great rum doing good’ and both elements of this slogan are equally important to us. Now, who said rum punch couldn't be sophisticated?! Next on the menu, a Lost Years riff on the classic Rum Punch that plays to the drink's Caribbean roots, with its strongest unaged rum, the Master award-winning Navy Strength - at its heart. This 54.5% ABV rum comes from the spiritual home of the rum punch, delivering a classic that punches well above its weight. But how good is our rum and is it worth taking a risk on a new brand to try it? The answer, of course, is a resounding yes! But don’t just take our word for it.A super-simple signature serve created for us by the awesome Belgian mixologist Matthias Soberon, it features our stunning Navy Strength rum, which is made for daiquiris. The result is a core blend that's classically Caribbean: fruity and aromatic with juicy notes of tropical fruit, combined with the warm smokiness that comes from those years spent in lightly charred barrels previously used for maturing bourbon. We’ve then added the x-factor - a ’punch’ of authentic unaged Rhum Agricole from Guadeloupe - to bring a vibrant and grassy freshness to the blend. Shake all the ingredients together, including the nutmeg, with crushed ice - then simply pour into your glass. Garnish with a mint sprig.
