If I was working in nasty, dirty areas, I'd forget the cap, and use an uncoated 52mm Tiffen UV filter instead. Uncoated filters are much easier to clean, but more prone to ghosting, and the laminated Tiffens stay together in one piece even after they've been shattered. At f/2.8: Much sharper than f/2; it doesn't get much better than at f/2.8, which says that this is a very good lens! Thanks to the rounded 9-blade iris, out of focus highlights captured by the Nikon Z 35mm f1.8 S captures are round. There’s also no sign of ‘onion ring’ or other aberrations.

Flipping the light meter on is easy enough, just push the advance lever out half way and it’ll give you a meter read out with a “+” for overexposed “o” for right on the money and “-“ for underexposed. It works pretty good, but by far this is my least favorite thing on the entire camera. I generally dislike these kinds of meter readouts. They just don’t provide enough info. I’d love to have the same meter readout like on the FE series cameras where it shows your shutter speed exactly. A small gripe and definitely doesn’t hinder the cameras usability in any way. Spherochromatism, sometimes mistakenly called "color bokeh" by laymen, is a minor aberration which can add slight color fringes to out-of focus highlights. It is important to note that Z-mount lenses are only designed to be used on Nikon’s Z-series cameras that have industry’s shortest flange distance of 16.0mm, which means that they cannot be adapted on any other camera system on the market today (see lens mounts explained for more information). NIKON Z 6 + NIKKOR Z 35mm f/1.8 S @ 35mm, ISO 100, 1/1600, f/2.8 Lens Handling and Build Quality ULTRA RARE - COLLECTOR'S GRADE! BOXED AND COMPLETE WITH INSTRUCTION MANUAL (JAPANESE TEXT), SPECIAL EDITION LAPITA STRAP, NIKON WORLDWIDE SERVICE WARRANTY CARD AND A CERTIFICATION PAPER OF AUTHENTICITY ALONG WITH OTHER ORIGINAL PAPERWORK. (COMES WITH SHUTTER GUARD INTACT TO BE REMOVED BEFORE FIRST USE.) Nikon FM2 LAPITA Limited Edition, only 100 units made. Rarer than the Nikon Year of the Dog, Year of the Dragon or any Titanium limited edition. The 35mm f/1.8 DX doesn't work well or at all on 35mm or FX cameras, but it does autofocus perfectly with every Nikon, especially the least expensive DX cameras. It works great on DX cameras, but you're paying a lot more than you need to, since for DX, the 35mm f/1.8 DX does exactly the same thing for one-third the price.

As usual, there’s some drop in the level of sharpness towards the corners of the frame, but it’s unlikely to be called into question in real world shooting situations. Closing down to f/2.8 sharpens the corners significantly and by f/5.6 they look very good.

Best 35mm SLR film cameras with manual focus – Pentax

Flash Ready-light: LED provided; visible inside viewfinder; lights up when an appropriate Nikon Speedlight Unit used is fully charged; blinks to warn that the shutter speed set is beyond the electronic flash's sync range

If you want to force the lens into manual-focus only, the M/A - M slide switch is positioned perfectly under your thumb. The FM2/T Year of the Dog was never exported to the UK. This brand new example is the 62nd example made and is a real collector's treasure! The Nikon F High Speed 7 fps was supplied announced in 1971 and the 9 fps in 1976. The 7 fps version was Nikon’s first High Speed Camera and was used at the Winter XI Olympic Winter Games held from 3rd to 13th February 1972 in Sapporo, Hokkaidō, Japan. Among collectors it has become known as the Nikon F High Speed Sapporo. Only 54 examples of the 7 fps camera were made, making it one of the rarest and most desirable of all Nikon cameras. This lens has been on the market for almost a decade now, meaning good prices can often be had if you’re prepared to shop around.
