In his 1st person narrative, Ryan describes Blackden Moor as “his” area and it emerged that he lured Ed to an ambush, having found a GPS tracker in his back-pack. The next episode airs on Wednesday, February 15 at 9 pm on Channel 5 with episodes also available on demand via My5. I tend to stick to chick lit, especially over the past year when I needed something light hearted to distract myself.

Jason also played former British Prime Minister Harold Wilson in season 4 of Netflix drama The Crown and Mr Humphries in the BBC's revival of Are You Being Served? But the more he digs and the more obsessed he becomes, the more he alienates his daughter and his wife, who are both convinced Ryan is The One. I enjoyed Logan's previous ('The Holiday’) - but I found this one even more compelling and it will be a hard act to follow. I have loved my previous reads from this author and decided to read this one prior to the release of the 4-part TV adaptation, showing in the UK from tonight (Wednesday 25th, Channel 5) - although I have already noted that part of the setting has been changed! Barnard added: “I am extremely looking forward to working on The Catch, there is such a wonderful group of talented people making this drama thriller.Overall, 'The Catch' reeled me in with its interesting premise but winded up being dull, frustrating and predictable.

The Curfew follows the events of a hot midsummer's night, when five teenagers go up to the woods to celebrate the end of exams, and only four come out. They say, “It’s compatible with all of your devices, supports most streaming services, and ranks among the fastest. Abbie ended his life with Ed's knife (probably a way of saying Ed defeated him from his grave or Ryan took the souvenir… but it took him). Thank you to Bonnier UK Audio, Zaffre and NetGalley who provided me with a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. M. Logan’s edge of your seat domestic thriller to screen, which will take our audience on a rollercoaster ride of loyalties to our main character Ed, when his life begins to fall apart following the arrival of his daughter’s new boyfriend, Ryan. I was born in Berkshire and grew up in Reading, the youngest of three boys and a fully-fledged bookworm from a very young age.

The production was by Projector Pictures, in association with Night Train Media and All3Media International. You’ll recognise Jason Watkins for his roles as Prime Minster Harold Wilson in The Crown and as DS Dodds in McDonald and Dodds. There isn't a trailer available for The Catch just yet, but Channel 5 has released a quick look at its new dramas, including The Catch, which you can watch right here. Channel 5 shared: “Set against the hauntingly beautiful coastline of the southwest of England, this suspense-driven drama revolves around the themes of toxic masculinity and grief. The thriller novel was released in 2020 and has gained a lot of fans since, and no doubt the show will too! The Catch trailer begins with a boat in open water and Aneurin Barnard talking about any dark family secrets to be avoided!

Prior to his demise, he explained in his narrative that he pre-dug graves on the moors and filled them with a lilo to keep the shape so they were ready for his victims. It is far from being predictable and has so many twists and turns you will feel like you are on a never ending roller coaster.Initially, Ed had no idea that he was connected to Ryan - but in the finale, he learned the horrifying truth. And though there might be doubts initially as to whether he’s just an overprotective father, believe me, by The Catch book ending you’re left wishing you trusted Ed’s instincts all along. After this terrifying incident (which he wasn’t suspected of causing) he was sent to live with a great-aunt in Manchester, UK before being fostered by Eileen Jackson in the same city. If it’s a well-written piece, like this, then I’m happy to do it, because illuminating the extreme instances of what life can throw up and being able to share that is a bit of a privilege. I would have liked for it to be more fast paced and with fewer pages since I felt that at some points it dragged on!
