Peter Robinson was born in Armley, Leeds (England) in 1950. He completed his bachelor’s in English literature, and in 1974 he shifted to Canada and obtained a master’s degree in Creative Writing and English from the University of Windsor. He received his Ph.D. degree from York University in Toronto. The initial first twelve novels of the Inspector Banks Series revolves around the crime investigation by Banks. After that, he incredibly turned his writing in 1999, where he surprised his fans with a turning story of IN- A-DRY-SEASON, the central theme is about the Inspector’s divorce from his wife Sandra and once their children leave home.
