Map, mounted on cloth, is in very good condition; also bound in is a 36pp Foreword, Introduction and COmbined Index to North and South Sheets which is tanned with some spotting; card cover rather tanned with some marks and shelfwear. The map has been produced by Ordnance Survey in collaboration with the Ancient Monument Trusts of England, Scotland and Wales, so as to provide an authoritative map of the historical sights of Great Britain. This map and guide shows the geographical distribution of some of the most important visible ancient monuments of Great Britain.
