The air pressure was set at 55psi. The professional spray gun has an adjustable nozzle which enables complete control over the volume of paint flow. This was probably set too fine. Finding the space – we don’t have our own garage and air compressor, so we need to borrow the space again. The product can be applied using a roller, brush or a spray gun. When spraying, a 6 HP compressor with a 150 PSI line pressure is recommended. A variety of different finish textures can be achieved by increasing or decreasing the PSI. We always recommend using genuine Raptor applicator guns or rollers for best results.

Up to 10% solvent-based automotive paint can be added to Raptor Tintable products. Flat colours are recommended rather than metallics. Yes, Raptor can be baked at 60c for 30 minutes. This will speed up the initial drying but will not reduce curing time; the finish should not be subjected to heavy use for 7 days and should be kept clean and dry for 72 hours.
