Description

After Tom uses a USB stick he just happens to find on a train, he and his son witness a brutal murder.

The central mystery itself is gripping and well-paced, doling out bits of information at just the right time to keep things engaging, while Simm and Campbell make for a strong on-screen pairing. His colleague and best mate Glenn Branson (Leon Stewart) brought the humour we love him for but maybe I was expecting more energetic charm. More recently she starred opposite David Tennant in Channel 4’s Deadwater Fell as well as in Traces opposite Martin Compston. Named by WHSmith as the ‘best crime author of all time’, Peter James is known for his fast-paced and gripping stories that thrust regular people into extraordinary situations. Underlying tensions are pushed to the surface when Tom accidently gains access to a particularly sordid online porn site which exposes the family to threats from criminals and attracts unwanted attention from detective Roy Grace (Harry Long) who is investigating possibly related murders.Earlier in the episode, after following up on a lead and finding a vehicle related to the case, DC Emma Jane Boutwood, otherwise known as EJ, got out of her police car and approached, with her badge in the air. If you think a sinister murder can’t possibly be told as something humorous, then it may just be the best comedy you’ll ever see.

When parts of a young woman's body are discovered on the Downs, Grace believes the murder is connected to two prior killings involving sex-drug overdoses. Looking Good Dead - With two seemingly unconnected deaths on their hands, Grace and Branson find themselves tested to the limit when it becomes apparent both incidents may be the work of a twisted serial killer who is using the South Coast as a hunting ground. No good deed goes unpunished…hours after picking up a USB memory stick, left behind by another passenger on a train seat, Tom Bryce, ( Adam Woodyatt) inadvertently becomes a witness to a vicious murder. There is also a touching faith in the ability of average teenagers to resolve any technical problem within a few seconds on a computer. When the serious thrills within the tale are allowed to come to the fore, they look good indeed; elsewhere, though, the production tends to overdo the Scooby-Doo in terms of inspiration for breathing theatrical life into this menacing drama.

The finale is set to find Grace investigating after a body is dredged up from the seabed of the English Channel. Of the supporting cast, Amit Shah gets the most to do as Zack Bryce, a train passenger who stumbles upon video footage he wasn't supposed to and gets wrapped up in the central mystery. In addition to “EastEnders” Adam has also appeared on many TV programmes including “Robot Wars”, “Dream House”, “A Question of Sport”, presented “The National Lottery” draw live and last year was a contestant on “Celebrity Masterchef”.

Extensive audio credits, mostly for Radio 4 and now available on Audible, include Eleanor Rising, an ongoing series about the extraordinary adventures of Eleanor of Aquitaine, the reinvention (with Lin Coghlan) of five Arnold Bennett novels in China Towns and nine John Galsworthy novels in The Forsytes. It's when it falls into the latter camp that Grace is at its strongest, proving that sometimes less really is more.He has also previously appeared in the pantomimes “Peter Pan”, “Snow White”, “Aladdin”, “Mother Goose” and “Cinderella”. Theatre includes The House On Cold Hill (National Tour) Nell Gwynn (Shakespeare’s Globe and Tour); Not Moses (Arts Theatre); Catalina (Oval House); Still I Pray (St. Filming commences on highly anticipated new crime drama, Grace, starring John Simm, 14 September 2020". With rescheduled dates confirmed, “LOOKING GOOD DEAD” is now set to open at the Leicester Curve on 1 July 2021 ahead of a major UK tour.
