I love all of these characters and it's just really exciting to be able to play with these worlds and also to add to them with Void Rivals and try to come up with characters that stand shoulder-to-shoulder with Optimus Prime and Duke and Cobra Commander. Audiences for any Transfotmers story have already been primed — no pun intended — to expect a Transformers story to center around two planets: Cybertron, the home planet of the Transformers, and Earth, where the war moves after the Transformers crashland on it. Innocently Insensitive: Jetfire barely talks to his rescuers, never mind learns that they are stranded on the mysterious planet, because he is rather understandably more preoccupied with the fact that he's been offline for millions of years, a long time even by Cybertronian standards.
