Holly seems to know more about the city than Varjak, although she didn't hunt until Varjak learned it.

And if you can dream of something - then in all of infinity, there must be at least one world in which that dream is real. I love the pictures in these books, the art style is so different, but it took away from the emersion sometimes when you'd have one sentence on a page, then the next would hold the picture, before the third finally continuing the tale.
