Total Harmonic Distortion: 0.03 % @ +14dBu (20 Hz to 20kHz), GAIN knob: Min, 0.005 % @ +24dBu (1kHz), GAIN knob: Min The Yamaha MG10XUF is a 10-channel USB mixer that boasts a rugged, durable build, intuitive controls and high-level technology for great results. 10 Channel USB Mixer Power Requirements: PA-10 (AC 38 VCT, 0.62A, Cable length = 3.6 m) or equivalent recommended by Yamaha

Hum and noise level - Equivalent input noise: -128 dBu (Mono Input Channel, Rs: 150Ω, GAIN knob: Max) For general live performance, a compact mixing console is probably the simplest option for getting your band all plugged into the same PA and ready to roll. There is, however, stiff competition - almost every recognizable brand you can think of offers very similar competitive models. With phantom power, MG Series consoles allow you to take full advantage of the greater frequency response and high sound quality of condenser microphones. The input channel with PAD switch accepts MIC to line level of inputs, PAD Switch attenuates high input signals that often accompany mic'ed instruments during performance, avoiding the clippingthat can seriously affect your mix. Specifications: The preamp is the starting point when it comes to mixers and they are the most vital components for determining the quality of your mix. The mixers within the Yamaha MG series all feature a studio-grade class-A D-PRE preamp to deliver more power at a lower impedance. This premium preamp possesses an extremely wide frequency range and delivers a sound full of fat bass tones and incredibly smooth highs with little to no distortion. This pure platform allows you to get straight into the performance without needing to spend wasted time trying to 'fix' your mix. The MG10XUF is equipped with discrete, studio-grade Class-A ‘D-Pre’ microphone pre-amps that make use of an inverted Darlington circuit that is comprised of two cascading transistors in a configuration that offers lots more power with less impedance. These ‘D-Pre’ pre-amps work to deliver fat, natural sounding bass-frequencies with smooth, clear high-frequencies and super-low distortion. The pre-amps come with a broad frequency response which allows them to handle any signal from any audio source without having to over-amplify any specific elements of your audio. They also help you save time by eliminating the need for excessive equalising or additional effects processing. For the MG10XUF, Yamaha have developed a custom made MG01 amplifier that delivers incredible audio quality with the integrated circuit being redesigned for optimal resolution. Phantom Power and PAD Switch If you are a 4-6 piece band, and you want to mic up drums, you will probably want to look at a ten channel option that allows for a little wiggle room. The Yamaha MG10XU is precisely that, making for a good-quality, affordable option. It's lightweight, with sensible dimensions for traveling to gigs with.

The faders on the MG10XUF have around 3 x the range of travel than the knobs on the MG10XU. The extra travel allows you to make more precise adjustments and makes room for detailed dB scale markings that aid calculated changes to your mix. Yamaha has always strived to provide sound engineers with the purest possible signal instead of added processing or color to give it a "signature" sound, and the MG Series is no exception. Embracing this philosophy of transparent sound, these mixing consoles deliver a level of sonic purity and sound quality that is unmatched in their class. Phantom Power is available on each of the four XLR/1/4” combo mic inputs so you can connect your condenser microphones while the PAD switch allows MIC to line level of inputs and attenuates high input signals – avoiding clipping so your sound is always at its best. Working down the channel strip, the first big difference we notice is that the MG10XUF has an “on” button above the channel and main stereo output faders; something missing on the MG10XU. Mesa de mezclas de 16 canales: máximo 10 entradas de micro/16 de línea (8 mono + 4 estéreo); 4 buses de grupo + 1 bus estéreo; 4 envíos AUX (incluyendo envío para efectos). Now in its third incarnation, our MG Series mixers embody design excellence incorporating some of the same technologies developed for use in high-end professional consoles, including studio-quality preamps, powerful digital processing, and a rugged, reliable construction. This high-performing mixer has a powerful SPX digital multi-effect processor that is equipped with a range of 24 time-based effects that allows you to polish your final mix allowing you to enhance your mix. The digital signal processor enables you to add another layer of depth or breathe new colour and atmospheres into a live bands performance. The range of high-quality reverbs and delays help you expand the spatial quality of your sound with excellent realism and naturalness. If you wish to you can connect a footswitch to the mixer for instant effect on/off control. The MG10XUF features 10 input channels, including 4 channels with D-PRE mic preamps, independent 3-band EQ's, 1-knob compressors, pad switches and switchable +48V phantom power. The Yamaha MG10XUF is noticeably larger than the MG10XU. This is one of those situations where you have to weigh up the pros and cons of the additional features vs the practicality of using the mixer. Space generally isn’t an issue at a live event, and we find it’s more comfortable working with a larger console as things are less cramped. Yamaha MG10XU Vs. Yamaha MG10XUF | Live Streaming Recommendation

the Yamaha MG10XUF is equipped with a studio-grade class-A D-PRE preamp for more power at a lower impedance. The mic-stand mounting system doesn't detach without unscrewing. So while the principle is quite cool, you could waste a lot of time screwing and unscrewing, or worse - lose your screws in transit. This makes it a little impractical and a bit of an oversight in our minds Why We Like ItExtremely easy to use, Cubase AI is a fantastic tool for taking your music from your initial ideas right the way to your final piece and is a great way to get started in the world of computer-based music production.
