Panacur for dogs is a wormer containing the active ingredient fenbendazole, often used in its liquid form for pregnant dogs. Panacur for adult dogs is formulated into paste, liquid suspension, and granules. Panacur dog wormer can also treat Filaroides Osleri Lungworm or Giardia in dogs.Panacur for dogs can also be used in specialist treatment like Filaroides Osleri Lungworm or Giardia in dogs, and is the only licensed medicine for treating pregnant bitches, the regime which involves treating from day 40 of pregnancy preferably with Panacur 10% liquid at a specialist dose of 0.25ml per kg daily till two days post whelping. Treating Giardia in dogs is a dose of 1ml per 2kg bodyweight of dog for 3 days. To control Filaroides Osleri Lungworm in dogs the 0.5ml per kg daily for 7 days.Panacur wormer granules for dogs may be mixed with food for fussy eaters.

Adult dogs and catsshould be treated with either Panacur Worming Granules 1g sachet which treats up to 2kg bodyweight, Panacur Worming Granules 1.8 sachet which treats 4kg bodyweight or a Panacur Worming Granules 4.5g sachettreating 10kg bodyweight. For the control of lungworm Aelurostrongylus abstrusus in cats administer 50mg fenbendazole per 1kg (2.2lbs) bodyweight daily for 3 consecutive days. Panacur Granulesfor adult cats and dogs are a powder that can be mixed with the feed to make worming easier but liquid or paste may be more suitable for young kittens and puppies. Panacur puppy pastecan be used for adult dogs and cats but is particularly suited to small breeds, puppies and kittens.
