I loved this new series of college football love books by Kandi Steiner. Although all of these books can be read independently, isn’t it more fun to fall in love with more characters? I was fascinated by Holden Moore, our QB1, right from the start. He was hyper focused on the game and on improving himself and his team. He is a true leader and has shown it in every book. His only goal is to lead his team to the top without distractions. And that means no women. He wasn’t even sure if a woman could walk through his walls. But then comes Julep Lee, daughter of the new coach and new member of the sports medicine coaching staff.

It is at this age that we come to determine how we love, who we love and whether or not the love we have will survive. Her favorite kind of writing is flawed, messy immature kind, which is what many love adventures are anyway. But when an old injury resurfaces and I’m forced to work every day with Holden as his athletic trainer, it becomes increasingly difficult to resist his attempts to get under my skin.
