Then there's the characters. In addition to doing amazing work with Puss, the cast of supporting ones is superb. Every character is fully rounded. And gets their own storylines with a beginning a middle and an end. We also get a really great villain. A character who is out and out bad. Who know they're that way. And goes with it. That's the way to write a great villain. They do have motivation, so they are three dimensional. But bad with it anyway. It's great.

The characters are well-established, flawed, and loveable. The dialogue between all of them is witty and the comedic pacing is really clever. The villains are like taking bites out of each chocolate from a variety box, and loving all of the flavours. They’re so fun, and honestly downright spooky at times, almost horror movie-like in the best way. And you clearly understand everyone’s motives, they’re all laid out there.
