I’m still learning, still making mistakes, but I feel ready now – after a lot of twists and turns along the way – to share my journey with you. In 2005, Craig announced that he had signed with Warner Music and put together his third album, 'The Story Goes.

Craig’s exposure to music came at an early age as his father was a bass player for the reggae band Ebony Rockers. Hosting smash singles including '7 Days' and 'Walking Away', the album placed Craig at the top and earned him three Ivor Novello Awards as well as six BRIT Award nominations in 2001.Those that say Craig’s making a comeback are the ones who stepped away; not going beyond the song 7 Days. Aged 18, he burst onto the scene with the garage classic 'Rewind' and, following the phenomenal success of his debut album Born To Do It, he has continued to top the charts over the past 22 years, amassing 17 million album sales and over 1 billion streams, to date. In Craig's much-anticipated first book - part-memoir, part self-help - he shares his journey of reinvention, self-love and acceptance, and the lessons he's learned along the way. also saw him team up with UK grime legend Kano for their collaboration 'This Is The Girl' that sampled Jay Z's song 'Big Pimpin'. He just never seems to age and his music was part of my life in a big way growing up so to read this was a delight.

I don't usually read autobiographies, however I have always loved Craig David and wanted to give this a try.As you read through the book, you’ll see how the titles of his songs are cleverly woven into his stories. Craig had been teasing his new book, which includes stories of his life right back from his childhood to the present day, from September. It was really great reading the first 100 pages (or so) of the book, it brought back a lot of nostalgia of the noughties. I thoroughly enjoyed this book, and admire the way he talks about his mental health and the struggles he has faced, including being bullied at school. The video showed the singer getting emotional as he took the book out of the box and looked at the quotes on the back, from the likes of Social Chain founder Steven Bartlett, TV presenter Fearne Cotton, and author Sonia Choquette.
