And of course you have the whole scary villain character and story line Remi is all secretive about. When you don't understand why because there's no way she can handle it on her own. Her moms a cop even! At least tell her what's going on! Why is the elephant in the room only dealt with at the end of the book and with absolutely no fanfare - I waited the whole book through for the verbal showdown between the h and ow, but no….that encounter was flatter than a pancake. A total anticlimax. 20 minutes into the sweet chat and they’re besties again. So glad this is a series and not a once in a Blue Moon story. Lucy Score takes you on a return trip to Blue Moon in Not Part of the Plan. It feels like a trip home with the familiar characters, the laughter and most importantly the love. The great thing about this book is that it reminds us about all of the different kinds of love in the world, romantic love, friend love, family love and community love. Niko is an interesting character that takes a trip to Blue Moon to visit a friend and discovers a part of himself he didn't realize was missing. Get ready to fall for Niko and For Blue Moon to steal your heart again. - Just Me Around 46% the will-they-won’t-they had gone from fun suspense to “oh dear god who cares?” It’s interesting how something can be pushed just a touch too far and suddenly seem annoying and ridiculous.

Forever Never: an unmissable and steamy romantic comedy from

I am not sure that I bought that the H felt he was just being used by the h for sex when he knew how long she’d loved him for. And she apologised for making him think it was all just for sex and vowed to work harder. This is after he’d pushed her away for years and had gotten married and divorced to her best friend. He had his reasons but that still made me go wtf to his conclusion that h was in it just for the sex. Instead, he weighed the options between diced tomatoes with or without green peppers while shopkeeper Bill House complained to him. as much as i wanna get into explaining the plot and the characters. i dont know how to do that. it’ll just put everyone off. no words can describe how complicated yet uncomplicated this book was. I’ll start with what I liked, for the most part I liked the FMC Remi, she’s unique, funny, and brash. I liked the setting, the cute little island town was quaint and the thriller/mystery was also very compelling.what follows is admittedly a rambly one & I probably could do better. Honestly, I’m just ready not to think about this one anymore. So below is more of a reminder to myself why I won’t be rereading this, to air out my grievances…just a smidge 😉 & cut to the chase << might be spoilery, so fyi.} this book is centered on miscommunication. but they communicated everything yet still didn’t trust each other’s words. so basically they communicated but didn’t know what was real what was not. He would make sure she was never alone in the dark again. Never faced an enemy alone. Never without a protector.” He’s the kind of man who would talk you into dropping your panties in a coat closet at a party, dole out orgasms like after dinner mints, and then never call you again.” hero and heroine are 8 years apart. they met for the first time when they were 16 and 24. the book is set 14 years later when they are 30 and 38. ugh and before anyone says anything no they didn’t anything until years, so shut up.

Davis spends his days gently wrestling control of the family winery from his father’s semi-retired hands. He doesn’t have time for things like dating and love. Especially since he never got over hurting his dream girl in a fog of teenage stupidity. Now, they’re neighbors… and the latest generation to carry on their families’ ridiculous, fifty-year feud. It wasn’t any of his business. And he knew what would happen if he let himself get curious. Remi Ford was no longer his concern. Had he bothered straightening to his full six feet four inches and looked up from the canned goods, he would have caught that telltale flash of red. The color of forest fires and the temptations of hell. His reason? Because he was convinced she was just like his mother, and didn't want the small town life. Now, mind you, he never actually ASKED her what she wanted. He decided FOR her what her life should look like, and brutally, and repeatedly, rejected her for it. He repeatedly chose his own emotional safety over hers, for years. THEN they finally get together, and he dumps her... rejecting her... AGAIN.... because he still won't ask her what she wants with her life. He just assumes she is like his mother. the last time i felt anything like this was exodus by kate stewart . that says something since that book is my lifeline.

the sexual tension was to die for. one of the BEST sexual tension books for me. i know many people didn’t like this book bc of all the red flags they heard or read or bla bla. anything said is so out of context bc me just repeating what this book is about would put a normal person off. but goddamn it. i went blind and i FELT. At the end we have 4 people who are very close to each other, in an almost incesty vibe - as one happy family. Anyway, what do you think? Am I the asshole or is she? Because I think she’s just using me for sex and maybe, possibly, she might not want to settle down with me but also I’ve never asked her if she would. But she’s just so flighty! You know!?” Part of me doesn’t even want to write this review. I’m in a very “what’s the point” place, mentally. But I’m going to say a few things - mostly about me or about my reaction to this book. So take this for whatever it’s worth.
