Chop up some kalamata olives or sundried tomatoes (a good handful and you can do both if you want) into little pieces and add to the pot Carrots/Broccoli/Green Beans/Kale etc.– Great for crunch, colour and texture. You can cook these any way you want really, but for carrots, broccoli and beans I like to flash boil so they remain full of bite. None of those soggy veggies your Nana used to serve! Kale is great with a touch of oil in a pan, lots of pepper and sometimes a little garlic. If serving as a side, it is also lovely with some toasted sunflower seeds or pine nuts sprinkled on top.Serve our deliciously seasoned Granose Chargrill Style Burger Mix in a bun with crunchy lettuce, fresh tomato & salsa with homemade potato wedges on the side for a perfect summer dish. At Vegan Supplement Store we fully endorse and recommend a varied diet full of whole foods, minimal processed foods and plenty of fresh fruit and vegatables daily. We've even produced our own healthy vegan recipe books to make it easier to prepare healthy plant-based meals. However, we also understand that not everyone likes spending time in the kitchen - or indeed many do not feel they can spare the time to prepare meals on top of a full-time job, parental responsibilities and many of the other stresses of modern life. That's why we conducted our own research to discover the highest protein plant-based foods available in the main high street shops or online. Dried Soya Protein (54%) [Defatted Soya Flake, Barley Malt Extract] , Wheat Gluten , Breadcrumbs (13%) [Fortified Wheatflour ( Wheatflour, Calcium Carbonate, Iron, Niacin, Thiamin), Yeast, Salt] , Flavourings (contain Wheat, Barley) , Palm Oil , Dried Onion , Onion Powder , Stabiliser (Methylcellulose) , Barley Malt Extract Powder . It has been loved by vegetarian & vegans for decades to make great meat free meals and has been handed down through families for generations.
