Secure in-app chat feature that allows family members to communicate in a 'group text' environment. Send messages to allow easier and more joined up care of your loved one. For example, upon receipt of a low battery alert you can confirm to the family support group that you have spoken with your loved one and asked them to put it on charge. App required for access to this feature. Our Automatic Fall Detection pendant or wristband can be added to this alarm at any time. Automatic Fall Detection is designed to alert us if the wearer has a fall and is not able to press their SOS button. Should this happen, our Response Centre Operators are fully trained and will manage the situation to make sure you or your loved one gets the best possible care. Some basic alarms come fitted with a pin that sounds when it's removed from the device, it will then continue to make a noise until the pin is reinserted. If you have 24/7 monitoring then the SureSafe operator will be given your location when the alarm is activated. We can then tell your nominated contracts your location. This means that you get the help you need, wherever you are.

Telecare and personal alarms for older people are eligible for VAT relief in the UK if the person using the equipment is disabled or has a long-term illness and any of the following three statements apply: False alarms If you're concerned about accidentally calling for help, find out how easy it is to cancel a false alarm. If you're using a basic alarm that releases a loud noise, it will sound for as long as you press the button or until the battery runs out.The hyper charging cradle will re-power the device to full power in about 1 hour. This simple and free-standing charging station is intuitive and easy to use, making recharging your personal alarm a breeze. Fall detectors also rely on a customer wearing a watch or pendant – the base unit at home detects if the device you're wearing indicates a fall.

SureSafe is a leading provider of personal alarms in the UK. They help people live independently for longer in their own homes. If you're looking for a personal alarm that alerts other people in the house when you're in difficulty, you should consider a basic alarm. Our significantly increased battery life now gives you between 7-10 days between charges (depending on the setting you choose). Various low battery reminders also prompt the wearer and family members (app required for family alerts) to recharge when required. If battery levels drop to a critical level then our 24/7 response team will also call to remind you to place it on charge.

At SureSafe, we empower people from all walks of life to live more independently by providing a personal alarm and medical alarm system range for emergency alerts and responses. We offer a wide range of personal alarms and personal emergency alarm systems, ranging from mobile alert devices, including the SureSafeGO Personal Alarm Watch, to more advanced monitoring systems for complete home coverage. The SIM card is placed inside the base unit and, as long as it's positioned somewhere with mobile coverage, it's fine to use instead of the traditional landline connection. Is there a personal alarm that can alert someone in the house?

If you choose to have a falls alarm for elderly people, the SOS button doesn’t even have to be pressed. The technology inside the pendant can recognise a fall and the alarm is triggered automatically. The monthly fee depends on the type of service, for example, if you need a larger alert range you can expect to pay more. Wearing a lightweight and discreet personal alarm means that should your elderly relative feel unwell, or have an accident, they don’t have to rely on strangers to get them the help they need. They can press the SOS button and hear the reassuring voice of a family member or a trained SureSafe operator. SureSafe’s personal alarms are linked to a central team, carer or loved one meaning help is on hand at all times whenever you may need it. SureSafe can give you tailored advice depending on whether you are looking for yourself as you may be concerned about falling, you’ve been told by a medical professional that you need to buy an emergency alarm, or you are looking for a family member. They are here for you. Depending on the use of the battery, the SureSafeGO ‘Anywhere’ personal medical alarm will last approximately 2-4 days depending on use. You can change the settings to extend the battery life to over a month. For complete peace of mind, we recommend our 24/7 monitoring on the SureSafeGO. This links straight to our response centre operators where your emergency call will be answered any time of the day or night. If your loved one is known to wander, or you are concerned with them leaving their home alone, you can heave peace of mind by setting up alerts that let family and friends know if your loved one has left a designated safe-zone you have set up, for example a 200 metre radius around their home (or entered an area you have designated to be not safe). Geo-fence alerts are sent directly to family & friends only, via the App. Geo-fence alerts are not received by, or monitored by, the response centre. App required for access to this feature. Unfortunately personal alarms are not provided for free, but many councils offer lifeline and pendant alarms at more manageable prices.
