D.R and Quinch get a good seat to watch what happens when it gets to the part of the ceremony where Earth is projected on screen.

R.’s nonchalant narration of events, the ridiculously over the top violence (including Pulger angrily tearing apart cuddly toys), and the satire of how those in power act. Thus our budding filmmakers have to make it up as they go along which involves heavy artillery, women dressed as giant crabs, incredibly strange awful insane creatures with blow torches and a massive tower of sixteen thousand oranges.I did a drawing of them holding huge rifles with a speech bubble saying ‘Real Men Don’t Fire Blanks’ and blu tacked it to my wall.

Often times those contradictions are presented between the narrations and dialogue (the text) and the action (the art). Occasionally, the narration tells us the exact opposite of what we're actually seeing or is a general understatement. Outside of the Galaxy’s Greatest Comic, Moore is best known for his work on the classic Watchmen, which redefined the superhero genre in 1986, but this is simply touching the surface of a career which has included 1963, A1’s Warpsmiths, Bojeffries Saga and Maxwell the Magic Cat, AARGH!It wasn't offensive for the sake of being offensive like similar comics, but it read more like a hidden reality cam trained on the lives of two unapologetic juvenile delinquents. It’s really nuts to think that the two longest stories are only around 20 pages long, the average length of a single comic book issue.
