Their next destination is Oaks on the Beach Club, where they find Trey and get information that he was under instructions by the same martial artist to pass out falsified tournament fliers. Cobra Kai's next destination is the Beach Bonfire where they find Yasmine, who is upset at Cobra Kai for showing up at her party uninvited. They find out that the same martial artist had the All Valley Tournament sponsor her party and only requested for her to appear, prompting them to conclude that Miyagi-do is behind it. The next place they go to is 5th Avenue Bar, where they find Armand and get information on what he's up to with Miyagi-Do, but he tells them that he came to the bar for a business meeting with a buyer to tell him that he wanted to buy the strip mall because he had plans for true karate, but he missed his deal and blames Cobra Kai for it. Cobra Kai heads to the Valley Fest, concluding Daniel was the mastermind and promptly defeat him.

Whether you’re en route to LaRusso’s car dealership, the high school, or even the beach, the thing that becomes apparent rather swiftly is the pacing of the levels. Granted, the average one takes around 15 minutes to wrap up and ends with a decent challenge from a mini-boss. Those involving a boss however seem to drag on forever and, by the time you reach the major encounter, you’ve probably already had enough – the last thing you want is an opponent possessing powerful moves, multiple health bars to drain and the ability to call for reinforcements. For a more polished experience, Streets of Rage 4would be your go-to side-scroller. However, if you want an over-the-top enjoyable experience that still has those repetitive elements of a typical brawler, Cobra Kai The Karate Kid Saga Continuesdoes deliver in the B-movie type vibe that the show gives off. A cult following than is doing a mae geri to the mainstream.

Decent beat em' up reminiscent to Double Dragon. Total of 8 fighters to choose from, 4 from Cobra Kai and Miyagi Do respectively. In the game you play either as Miyagi-do or Cobra Kai, taking control of all the characters in that faction through a side-scrolling beat ’em up set up. Miyagi-do plays the defensive game with more health, while Cobra Kai are heavy hitters. IGN's Amelia Emberwing gave the previous season of Cobra Kai a 7/10, writing that it "most certainly has Netflix DNA for better and for worse. Still, the heart and soul of what makes the series what it is, is still present." Read the full review here. Using the elements to identify each other wasn’t the best, in my opinion, and while realism isn’t the focus, some of the effects in Cobra Kai The Karate Kid Saga Continues are a bit over the top, and special effects will appear mid-screen, overlapping other graphical elements. Only a minor flaw, but this coupled with the bush baby eyes of Sam (didn’t look good) made me exit out and switch to Cobra Kai. Just to be at a point now where Daniel and Johnny can operate as full friends, and see the actual benefits in each others' style (this season has a fun element where the two seem to switch roles for a while), is incredible. The same can be said for Daniel and Chozen (Yuji Okumoto), and it's actually Chozen's role this season that shines the brightest. Whether he's serving the drama or the comedy, Chozen becomes a much more rounded character in Season 5 as Daniel's bizarre "ride or die" against Terry Silver. Though this year's offering is firmly rooted in the events of The Karate Kid Part III (there's even a new villain brilliantly sprung from a throwaway line in that film) Chozen remains a lingering part of the second movie that still feels worthy of exploring here. What We Said About Cobra Kai Season 4Real actor voices to most of the fighters is refreshing. The enemies you fight is a bit out there ranging from Hipsters, Hippies, Karen Moms, Emos and Car salesmen. Missed opportunity of Co Op limiting to only 2 player couch rather than 4 player online reminiscent to TMNT on the arcades. Daniel and Johnny were both surprised at how Kreese used their history to turn them against each other like that and surprised that Kreese is still as evil as he always was. Daniel and Johnny decide to call a truce and make sure that this doesn't happen again. The principal doesn't believe one word that Hawk and Demetri are saying. They tell him that it's all true, but the principal tells them that everything's a mess and their best explanation being a retired mastermind veteran with a penchant for chaos sounds more like something out of a book. They keep telling him that it really happened, so he decides to give them detention where they can write their tale on paper. He jokingly says that their delusion would make a good TV show or a video game.
