The 800mAh battery lasted me two and a half days of very consistent and heavy vaping. That’s really good for such a small vape. Battery life is definitely a strong point with this one.

Other than that, the SMOK Novo 2 is a great little pod vape that is inexpensive, simple to use, and super-portable. As a secondary vape, it is great. I used mine predominantly like this, either when traveling or out with my friends, and it worked perfectly. If you want huge clouds, sublime flavor, and battery life that lasts a week between charges; there are much, much better (not pod-based) systems for that, but for excellent portability, attractive and unobtrusive aesthetics, reliable and simple operation, and an overall well-balanced pod-based experience, SMOK’s NOVO 2 definitely doesn’t disappoint! When connected to the device, there’s a thin transparent portion of the pod that is visible. One of the pods tastes burnt before I'd even started, that's with waiting 10 mins and priming the coil. With respect to performance, the NOVO 2 –like its predecessor –is decent, I just don’t think it quite hits hard enough to get inside our Best Pod Vape Guide, alongside the likes of the UWELL Caliburn and Orchid Ultra. The original Novo was a great device but battery life was a downside. It looks like Smok listened to the community when making the Novo 2 so I’m excited to see how it performs. They’re EXCELLENT coils/mesh. I think alot of people try to use 70vg/30pg juice and above and that shit gums up above 1ohm coils and kills them alot faster.
