Hi I have an issue with my MKi9200, when I put the ignition on the screen powers up ans displays the logo but before it could even go into the home screen, it restarts and repeats the cycle. I can’t access the menu. What should I do? Got a Strange issue, where my new iPhone 7 doesn’t seem to pair correctly with the Parrot MKi9200, firmware 2.20. I’ve even done a factory reset on both devices and it does the same which is: The music output from the MKi9200 can be wired to use the Aux input on the car stereo. Whether this has been done depends on the vehicle make / model / year. To access your phonebook and make a call, simply press the green button to start the user-independent voice recognition: the MKi recognize your voice and the name you are saying without any prior teaching process. You can also directly access the phonebook and browse all the names thanks to the voice synthesis (Text To Speech). So simple!

For some reason it won’t give power to my iPhone via an iPhone USB cable plugged into the Parrot USB cable. This has worked on the V 3 box fine and I would get music playing via usb cable etc. (better sound). Recommend deleting all the old paired devices from the MKi9200: Settings / Bluetooth / Phone X / Delete / Green button to confirm. Have only ever changed 2 blown fuses on any Parrot kit – they just don’t blow (except for a good reason)My dongle just stopped working for no reason. I replaced the batteries and tried restarting and reconnecting the dongle but nothing works. Hello,i have parrot handsfree MKi9200 and the language is netherland ,version 1.90 and another version is 0.58 .I want to update or change the languageto english , please help me how to do that. Thanks a lot I have a MKI9200 with firmware 2.20 I can make and receive phone calls absolutely fine but as soon as i try to play a song from my phone (Android huawei p20) via Bluetooth it displays the song on the screen as if its playing but there is no sound whatsoever. I tried using the line in function also but also no sound. Would recommend that you leave it to try to complete the update for a further 10 mins. After this period you can only try the following: When I connect it says paired all ok but it doesn’t seem to fully connect and will say Telephone connected on the Parrot but it won’t work for Bluetooth audio and the phone isn’t listed in paired devices. If I try and play music to the Parrot it looks like it is trying to do so but won’t connect. However I can make calls and the sound comes though the speakers ok.

The newer versions have compatibility / bug fixes and have a much shorter boot sequence ( turn on time). Update preparationRemove all paired devices from the MKi9200 ( Settings \ Bluetooth \ Phone (x) \ Press centre button, scroll to delete and then press Green button to confirm ). Do this for all paired devices. Finally, if your 3200LS shows a “P” on the screen when attempting to pair it will need to have it’s software updated to cure this issue.

PARROT MKi9000 PARROT MKi9000

Dear Justcarkits staff, we have the parrot mki 9200 carkit in 2 different cars. The mobile phones we use are Android, (OnePlus, Oxygen 11) and iOS (iPhone 11). The firmware we run on both carkits is v2.20. Since a few months we have an issue with the connection. Once a phonecall is started, the connection with the carkit drops and after 20 seconds it rebuilds and after some time the connection breaks again. Playing music over Bluetooth is perfect, but making phone calls is very annoying. Do you have a suggestion what we could do to improve the Bluetooth connection when making phone calls? Thank you for your guide. I have tried it many times and unfortunately, it does not solve my iPhone connections issues with the MKi9200. The issue is that the connection between the iPhone and Parrot is dropped (seemingly at random), mostly during phone calls but also otherwise. I have this problem with updated iPhone 5, iPhone 6, iPhone 7 and iPhone X. Android is working fine on the same MKi9200. If the updates fail to cure the issue it will be an issue with the Bluetooth chipset in your iPhone – have seen it before. Customers got around it by returning the iPhone for a different version. I have a mki9200 the sound does not play connects fine but no sound coming from speakers radio in car plays fine so not the speakers any suggestions please Hi just one last question do I unzip the folder just because all I’m getting is waiting for update on the parrot and it does nothing else. I can press the red hang up button and it comes out of it so the screen is still working ok. Thanks again for all the help. The MKi9200 will now re-boot. Please note that sometimes it will refuse to erase memory. Simply turn off the MKi9200 and try again. With the recent launch of ios 10, 11 and 12 a few users are reporting an issue where the iphone would work correctly with the Parrot MKi9000 / MKi9100 and MKi9200 when using ios 9, but since the upgrade to ios 10, 11 or 12 the phone connects / disconnects / connects / disconnects. Delete all Bluetooth devices on the iPhone – Settings \ Bluetooth \ Phone X, ” Forget this phone “, then confirm. Do this for all paired devices. When users get in their car, they start the engine and the kit immediately connects to their mobile phone. Thanks to the voice recognition feature of the Parrot hands free car kit, drivers say a name and the kit automatically dials the number.
