Description

This is due to his model being a repaint of Bachmann’s existing American 4-4-0 tooling. As a result of this, the model is inaccurate in a few places. Due to sharing Diesel's body shell, the HO Paxton's eyes are raised higher than they are in the show, thus causing his whole face to be incorrectly proportioned. This issue was fixed on the large scale model, as both Paxton and Diesel were designed at the same time. Season 4 - Bluebells of England, Stepney's Special, Diesel Trouble!, Emily's Bad Day! and Edward's Exploit An unidentified object obstructs the camera lens in the top-left corner of the shot when James and Henry pass by at Knapford. The object is most likely studio equipment. For centuries the area below Elsbridge had been flooded both at high tide and when the river was in spate. At other times it looked innocent enough to tempt unwary invaders to choose this route inland. All without exception found themselves engulfed in bog.

Tidmouth (RWS) | Thomas the Tank Engine Wikia | Fandom

Thomas is a blue tank engine who works at a big station called Knapford on an island called Sodor. His job is to fetch coaches for the other engines and then take them away the engines are done pulling them and when the passengers get out. Thomas thinks he works the hardest and is often very cheeky to the bigger engines, especially a big and proud engine named Gordon who pulls the Express. Thomas likes to startle him rudely by teasing him with his loud whistle. On the Shining Time Station episode, A Place Unlike Any Other and the Thomas' Halloween Adventures DVD, the last few seconds of the episode are cut.

When the N scale Thomas and Percy models were first revealed, their faces had been switched around and had swapped eyebrows. In the closeup of Gordon when he says "Well, little Thomas, now you know what hard work means, don't you?" Wellsworth station is missing and there is also a gap between his eyes.

In addition, he is also the first character that was first made in Large Scale, unlike the other characters who were all first made in HO scale and then made again into large scale. The blue narrow gauge van has the letters "SR" painted on the side which stand for "Skarloey Railway", while the red van does not, as it's based on Cora from The Railway Series. Interestingly enough, the large scale Brake Van similarly has the letters "NW" for " North Western".

Thomas and Percy's HO models were recycled as different models with the same moulds in the Bachmann Junior range. Thomas' model was repainted into engines such as 2005, Billy and Stuart. Percy's model was repainted into GWR locomotives and Greg. Interestingly, they were given front couplings. The human figures were originally marketed as HO scale but have been relabelled large scale since the introduction of said range due to being too large. When the series first aired in 1984, the main title fonts were shown in pink. Then, when they were shown individually in 1985, the colour of the title fonts were changed to a bright red, which was also used for the second series. Several other attractions can be found near Tidmouth Hault at the far end of the zoo, including an adventure play area and the During Clive Spong's time as illustrator, the station was usually incorrectly depicted as having six terminal roads and two glass canopies, with the "through" road outside the station's glass roof.
