Following the beginning of the HCPC process in 2015, the social worker did not engage with proceedings. Evidence

Bessie, Alice and Margaret have two things in common: they are married to George Joseph Smith, and they are dead. She attended Prattville High School and went to the University of Alabama. At first, she chose to major in Chemistry, blindly following the footsteps of her sister. “I really struggled at the beginning,” she confesses. After realizing that science was not her forte, she decided to give journalism the old college try. “I’ve always been a big reader, I like to write, maybe I should try my hand at this,” she recalls her thoughts at the time. Novelette is a hairdresser with a special gift – she can read your secrets from your hair. Set in a vibrant Afro-Caribbean hair salon, she tends knowingly to each client. As women rush to the styling chair, each story untangles through laughter and tears. Produced at the NAC to critical acclaim, a Global television series, and a hit musical, ‘da Kink in My Hair is a Canadian classic. In 2021, the commons consulting founder Adeline Huynh outlined an action plan for Pacific Theatre with concrete steps to help implement anti-racist, long-term policies and practices at the company. If you’d like to continue to be a part of our accountability and growth process, we’ve outlined our current actions (and areas that still need work) in our second annual Equity Report, which you can read in its entirety below. After a number of years of touring productions, the troupe moved into a purpose-built 128-seat alley-style theatre in the historic Chalmers Heritage Building on October 14, 1994, where they’ve been creating theatre that matters ever since.

As one of the authors (CSN), my own interactions with Kaitlin were most frequently in the hallway outside my office at the end of the fourth floor of the MacNaughton Building that houses the Department of Physics. From early in the morning until late at night, Kaitlin could be found sitting on the floor working away, always ready for a friendly chat where we discussed labwork, re-imagined undergraduate curricula, or discussed future careers. I will forever cherish all these chats, and I can say that they helped make me a better instructor and a better mentor for undergraduate students. While she was always intrigued by the idea of graduate school, Kaitlin decided she wanted to start her career by getting some ‘real world’ work experience, taking a software developer job in her hometown of Ottawa, Ontario. Produced by Christian Ching. Direction and Dramaturgy by Larisse Campbell. Performed by Sarah Higgins, Ella Storey, and Jamie Sweeney. Co-created by the team. Her father, Jeff Collins, is a senior mortgage banker in Alabama. She had an apolitical upbringing since her family mostly used to watch local news programs. “I think the most national news show that we watched was The Today Show,” she recounted in an interview.

Throughout the past 36 years Pacific Theatre has developed dozens of new plays through in-house readings and workshops, bringing many of them to their world premieres. Plays developed and produced at Pacific include Espresso, A Bright Particular Star, Prodigal Son, Navy Wife, Tent Meeting, Cariboo Magi, Mercy Wild, Book of the Dragon, Suitcase Stories, Bar Mitzvah Boy, Jesus Freak, Gramma, and Tolkien, many of which have gone on to subsequent runs at other professional theatres around the world. The panel also heard that the social worker had shared cigarettes and personal information with the mother, which it said breached professional boundaries as it “blurred” the relationship between the pair. Let us on your imaginary forces work. A young girl puts aside her dolls to play soldier, leading her sister, friends and family through the harrowing and heroic saga of Shakespeare’s Henry V. I think one of the key aspects of being a good reporter, apart from knowing where the story is and what the news is, is knowing where your skills are best fit, and for me, that was Trump,” she says. Lab partners through their undergraduate degrees, Kaitlin and Sara enjoyed taking fun selfies together at the end of each of their undergrad labs. (Photo credit: Sara Teskey)

The Department of Physics is heartbroken to share the untimely passing of 2018 Physics graduate Kaitlin Williams on January 19th while attempting to recover from a heart surgery at the Ottawa Heart Institute. Kaitlin enrolled in the University of Guelph as an Animal Biology major but discovered her passion for physics during first-year classes taught by Professor Martin Williams, who fondly recalls the constant laughter and sense of humour that Kaitlin displayed during visits to his office hours. These traits would be a hallmark of Kaitlin’s 4 years at Guelph! This internship, for Williams, is a combination of two passions of hers. She has experience with graphic design work and has been passionate about sustainability from a young age. Kaitlan Collins was born on 7 April 1992 in Prattville, Alabama, USA. She is 29 years old as of 2021.Two women in a shabby room, caught in the struggle between where they come from and where they need to be. Accompanied by a hauntingly original melody. In various capacities, Kaitlin has also worked with Bard on the Beach, the Arts Club, the Belfry, ITSAZOO, Delinquent Theatre, the Electric Company, Chemainus Theatre, Western Canada Theatre, Touchstone Theatre, Rumble Theatre, and many others. She has been grateful to receive Jessie nominations for both her acting and directing. Gruesome Playground Injuries follows the decades-spanning relationship of an accident-prone dare devil and a corrosive masochist who navigate friendship, love, and the wounds created in between. The unexpected appearance of a Narrator in Shelby’s life draws her into a whimsical world just beyond the skin of ours, forcing her to reimagine herself as the (reluctant) hero of her own story. As she faces both the mundane and the monsters, she must choose to either face her deepest fears or run the other way.

We are devastated to announce the passing of Kaitlin Williams, of Kanata, Ontario on January 19, 2022 at the age of twenty-five. Loving daughter and friend to Theresa and Andrew, amazing big-sister to Daniel and Tristan, granddaughter to Audrey (Berry) and Eufron (Williams), and beloved by many uncles, aunts, and cousins, and parent to her cat Fitz. Energetic and dynamic Territory Sales Manager with experience in Industrial, Healthcare and Scientific product sales. Proven expertise in competitive market analysis, contract negotiations, and new product launch and positioning. Battered, bruised, and desperate for connection, Danny and Roberta collide in a grimy bar in the Bronx. She reacted by saying, “You’re banning me from an event because you didn’t like the questions I asked.” One winter night a woman bakes a pie as a girl tries to finish her college essay. As the deadline looms, unexamined issues of the girl’s adoption from Russia, the rupture of her parents’ divorce, and the fear of leaving home break through the surface. A mother accepted the traditional role of women while her daughter resisted the very same expectations. Unlike the mother, who never left her place, the daughter leaves for a new place. Then, life in a foreign land changes her perspective on the mother’s life. Was her choice right not to live like the mother? The day [Donald Trump] was inaugurated was my first day covering the White House, and it was obviously an adventure that started that day,” she recalls. For the other author of this piece (ST), Kaitlin was a fierce and loyal friend to all who knew her, and I had the privilege of spending most of my days with her, in and out of classes. At the end of every year, we would sit down together and make a list of our favourite memories, totalling more than 50 each year. But the best part of every year was always unwritten; it was getting to spend it with her. The toughest days were made infinitely better by her kindness, humour, and infectious smile. Outside of physics, Kaitlin was also a talented dancer, singer and performer of musical theatre. Every week she attended Zumba classes at the Gryphons fitness centre and she had a special way of inspiring and energising others. One of my favourite memories of her is from the 2018 Physics Fire and Ice Dance, when she had everyone on their feet dancing along to her favourite Zumba routine.
