I did like the story overall, but I would have liked the characters fleshed out a little more, especially Zuko and his brothers. I read as I listened but I usually don't like dual narration I prefer duets but for this book thank goodness I only got to hear Corvin. It probably says more about me than the book, but I thought this could have been a little crazier and darker? They hunt and kill without remorse wiping out competition of their clients in exchange for very good coin. This is about a strong independent FMC who works in a bar and has a secret identity as a phone spicy worker.Zuko is one of the Hunter brothers and he is a ruthless, deadly powerful guy and when he turns up at the bar where this sexy voice he's been hearing alot he recognises it right away and now he's seen her he gives of total touch her and die vibes. Zuko is one of 3 brothers who are Hunters/contract killers who are definitely more than morally grey.

They test each others patience but when the other needs them they are right there lighting the match to bring down whoever crossed them!

She cracks me up especially when she had Zuko tip her his unlimited black card while she was working at the club. I 1000% love everything about this book between the two main characters the storyline the fact that they have such a funny witty back-and-forth banter between them, spice between them between you know everything there’s a little bit of sexual tension there is spice and then there’s you know a little bit of violence with the main character and some other characters and you know it’s just all around funny book.

but all those moments when he tended to her wounds, cooked, and gave off LITERAL “touch her and die” vibes? I love the huntsman and was so happy to see that TL was writing them because I know these boys are going to open up so many kinky doors. Moments of Malevolence is an all-new standalone enemies-to-lovers romance with serial killers and hidden identities, where the villain always gets the girl even if she sets his house on fire. Zuko, one of the Hunters, knows what he wants and he isn't afraid to do whatever he needs to do to get exactly that.Zuko is the dark villain most would run scared shitless away from, while Alaska is the independent sassy spit-fire and his perfect match. I do think that there was some parts that were strange, disrespectful, and cringe but I got through it and felt like that was there personalities. I went into this book not knowing what I was getting myself into and I freaking loved every moment of it.
