B) 4 – ¾″ x 3 ¼″ rectangles; the bottom edges of B1 should be about 1 ½″ from the bottom of {G}. The bottom edges of B2 should be about 3″ from the top of B1. Once I determined the depth of the glasses, I cut out a number of narrow cardboard strips at that length. Using a hot glue gun to hold them in place, I slowly created the glasses "structure." You can see this in the first picture. It doesn't have to be pretty, just get the gist of the shape in place.

The hardest part of the cardboard process is the curves that fit your face and forehead. The easiest way that I found to replicate these curves was to trace the safety glasses. Position the safety goggles into the glasses with the goggles facing down. You'll want to place cardboard vertically up against the goggles, and trace the curvature of goggles onto the cardboard. Do this for the nose curves as well. You can bend the cardboard to wrap around this curve pretty easily. I chose to keep the top of the glasses completely flat, but you could choose to rotate them. Keep in mind, you will be fitting the safety goggles INTO this "pattern" that you have created, so it would be good to see if it fits now. Reminder: you will be fiberglassing this in the next step, keeping the top flat drastically facilitates the fiberglassing process. Write Solar Charge on top of {I}. I used my embroidery machine, but you could embroider it by hand or use puff paint…whatever is easiest for you. The top of the letters should be about ½″ below the top edge of {I}.D) 1 – 1 ¾″ x 1 ¼″ rectangle; left edge should be about 1″ from A1 and bottom edge should be about ¾″ from the bottom edge of {G}. Secure your pad pieces to the object using heat resistant fastening, such as heat resistant rubber bands. (You can also choose to hold the pad around the bottle yourself, using heat resistant work gloves.) Start with a basic jumpsuit, preferably in a brown or tan color. Use fabric paints or markers to create the appearance of rusted metal and add Wall-E's signature details, such as buttons and switches. You can also attach small cardboard pieces or foam to create the robot's various components. Are you a fan of the adorable robot Wall-E from the Disney Pixar movie? In this blog post, we will guide you through the different types of Wall-E costumes available and provide tips on how to create the perfect Wall-E look. So, let's get started! 1. Wall-E Classic Costume Disney and Pixar’s 2008 animated film Wall-E is a robot-meets-also robot adventure that is as classic as it is charming. What could be better than space, robot romance, and a thinly veiled prompt for us to re-evaluate our throw-away culture? (Be honest, you’re mostly here for the robots. It’s cool, I get it, me too.)

The Princess and the Frog: Tiana • Louis • Ray • Dr. Facilier • Almost There Tiana • Prince Naveen • Platinum Tiana • Charlotte La Bouff Pooh and Pals: Pooh • Tigger • Piglet • Eeyore • Rabbit • Owl • Roo • Kanga • Gopher • Christopher Robin • Lumpy With your E6000 adhesive, glue Front Panels H1 and H2 to Front Chest Piece A. While you’re waiting for the glue to settle, take this time to cover the edges of your goggles with your silver duct tape to give them a metallic look. This officially-licensed Wall-E costume features a soft body tunic that simply slips over your child's head, robot pincher gloves, and a headpiece with Wall-E's expressive eyes printed on the front. The body has the robot's tank-like feet attached to the sides and all sorts and tech and rust printed on the surface. You can pair this costume with your child's own clothes, which makes it a great choice for a range of temperatures. When all the parts are combined together, you can be sure your little robot will embrace their new role! Trash Collecter Dedicated to her mission in scanning for any signs of self-sustaining plant life on earth, EVE hardly notices WALL-E whom he follows her out of loveliness and was even hostile towards him at first when she almost shoots him, but eventually befriended him when they formally introduced each other and when he took her to safety.

Step Three:

Once all of the felt is placed and glued, start creating your Wall-e body. I used the DVD box as a reference for this part. Cut a smaller piece out, this time about the shape of a very rounded-off triangle, and glue that to the top edge of the body. That will serve as his head.

C) 1- 3″ x 3 ⅝″ rectangle; left side should be about ⅜″ from A1 and the top edge should be about 1 ⅛″ from the top of {G} Alice in Wonderland: Alice • White Rabbit • Cheshire Cat • Mad Hatter • Caterpillar • The Queen of Hearts • Doorknob • King of Hearts • Little Oysters • House Alice • Rose • March Hare When my son asked to be Wall-e a couple of years ago, so I scoured the internet for ideas on how to make a DIY Wall-e costume. The ideas were cute, but all of them involved painting a cardboard box. Uh, 1. I hate painting. 2. I’m not very good at it. 3. No way I was going to put that much effort into something that was basically going to be a throw away costume! So I thought and thought, and finally, it hit me! Sew a slip cover for a box! That way when the box is finished, I can just get a new one and still have the costume! And boy am I glad that I decided to do that because I had no idea what a HUGE hit this costume would be! Wrap these three pieces of wire around the “body” piece once, right in the middle, so that your are left with a completely symmetrical roach with even legs.

The Little Mermaid: Ariel • Flounder • Sebastian • Ursula • King Triton • Prince Eric • Wedding Ariel • Vanessa • Flotsam • Amethyst Ursula • Ruby Ariel

Tangled: Rapunzel • Pascal • Flynn Rider • Maximus • Tiara Rapunzel • Mother Gothel • Wedding Maximus • Baby Rapunzel For the headpiece, you can use a combination of cardboard, foam, and paint to create Wall-E's eyes and antenna. Don't forget to add some worn-out and weathered details to give it that authentic Wall-E look.Alice in Wonderland: Alice • Mad Hatter • March Hare • Dormouse • White Rabbit • Cheshire Cat • Tweedle Dum and Tweedle Dee • Queen of Hearts • King of Hearts • Caterpillar • Dinah • Oysters Poke a thin piece of jewelry wire through the top edge of his head towards the nose, and wrap it around the center skeleton piece. Wrap it around once or twice, then wrap it around itself tightly. Trim the excess wire and shape it to your preference. This will be the antennae. Continue until your leg pad is sufficiently and evenly warped, such that it maintains its slight arc when you remove it from the object you are using to shape it. Repeat this step for the other leg pad. Trace the template onto cardboard and cut it out, cut out the eye sections as well (make sure the eye sections align well with where you place the safety goggles). The Deluxe Costume features a padded jumpsuit with 3D robotic details, giving the illusion that you've stepped right out of the movie. The padding adds dimension and depth to the costume, making it look more like an actual robot. Additionally, the costume includes detachable shoulder pads and boot covers for added authenticity.
