To further my clinical skills and expertise I have undertaken further training in aesthetic and restorative dentistry. Instead of generic magazines in the dentist's waiting room, there should be at least one copy of the book for patients to read. Or maybe you’ve never had a cavity – and now, suddenly, you have a half dozen that require immediate attention. There are various points in the book that dentists can benefit from in retaining patients and generating referrals. Every dentist should have this book available for their clients to read and I would I argue that most people could really do with a copy of this book in their house.

Yang is able to earnestly flesh out Nothing but the Tooth into a dynamic, all-encompassing guidebook for the consumer – covering everything from relevant dental services, to dental insurance, to exposes on expenses related to dental health, to proclaimed ‘orthodontal secrets. Practicing dentists, for whom I now have nothing but respect, should also make this book their required reading. This book should be kept visible so that one can always refer to it when they need dental or a health related guide.
