Norman and Mandy argue over who should be the captain, they cause the air-intake on Charlie’s fishing boat to overheat. Titan has a sonar which can be used to locate lost people as seen in The Return of Norman-Man. Titan is housed in the Ocean Rescue Centre, along with Neptune and Juno. Station Officer Steele takes the day off with Gareth, Sarah, and James to go rowing, but their adventure takes a turn for the worse when they approach a waterfall. Meanwhile, the rest of the crew is struggling to finish filing Steele's reports.

They see a frozen lake nearby and skate on it, but the ice begins to break, leaving the twins stranded on it.
