Nicknamed Mr Manchester, he transformed the Northern music scene as founder of Factory Records and the Hacienda nightclub after earning a cult following as a television presenter.

I was loving the warmth and vitality that the author brings to her characters, and just stepping into this novel felt like a comforting hug.I had my newborn baby with me so we had a tank of a buggy with us and a load of bags, so it was great to be able to sit outside where we didn’t need to worry about space (like a lot of other cafes in the city). But when a family emergency throws them back together again, can she put aside the hurt of her past and embrace the happy ending she deserves? Still reeling from a shock revelation, the Featherstone family rallies together, and for Rosie this means that life at The Lemon Tree Café is temporarily on hold. is the perfect setting for enjoying breakfast, lunch with a glass of wine, dinner and everything in between. It is the same with "The Lemon Tree Cafe" - it is a story of finding yourself, finding what brings you happiness, it's about daily struggles of new mothers, about learning to appreciate yourself again, about family, secrets and letting the old demons go, about being proud of who you are and your roots - this all in this lovely, heart - warming, light - hearted and gorgeously delicious story.

The Lemon Tree Café offers breakfast, morning coffee, homemade cakes and bakes, pastries, light bites served all day, lunches, afternoon teas, Kentish cream teas, delicious desserts and drinks and wine.

It has been a long time coming but I finally managed to visit ‘Lemon Tree Deli Cafe ‘on the Ely square. Great new family run cafe with delicious, fresh home cooked food, snacks and sandwiches – lots of choice, friendly staff, UNBEATABLE brownies (which they even can deliver to your door!

Rosie gets offered a job in Manchester, but after she meets single dad Gabe, she soon starts debating whether to take the offer as the pair get closer. Then something happens to threaten everything that Rosie holds dear, and she has to spring into action to save both the café and her fledgling relationship. To not go too crazy without a job she offers to work for a month in her nonna's cafe, and perhaps bring it back to its glory days, even though Maria doesn't think it's necessary, make it a little bit better - but does the nonna need Rosie's help? You can change your choices at any time by visiting Cookie preferences, as described in the Cookie notice. Many of my passions have come and gone (my obsession with home décor shows in the 90s led to a lot of dodgy DIY choices and my attempt at making wine did not end well! Why do you have to destroy a nice little story about a nice little girl and a nice little café with annoying, way too depressing things? Thank you for taking the time to leave a review and we are so pleased your enjoyed your visit and especially our bubble and squeak:). I warmed to the book and the characters right at the beginning - even to the all - knowing nonna (you know I have huge problems with wiser than wise older aunts, grandmas, cousins in the stories. However, she has been always an avid reader, never without a book on the go and now thinks she may have found her dream job!

A warm, family-based novel set in the Derbyshire countryside, The Lemon Tree Cafe was a lovely book to escape into. I know I've said once that Gabe is not my favourite character - because Gabe was already introduced to us in "The Plumberry School of Comfort Food" and well. to share a tray bake which meant we had to have the same, which was actually the best bit as it was bought in so it was a pity you couldn't get one each, no fruit scones just plain ones, they were tasteless.I mean, I want my hero to appear on the pages more than Gabe appeared, so the end felt so pushed and rushed and I wondered, when did they really have time to fell in love? It explained a lot, why she was so cautious about relationships and why she wanted to focus on her career, and it really was breaking my heart because she deserved so much more after what she has experienced. I can see why Lemon Tree Deli Cafe is popular, as I can see myself grabbing a beer and sitting out in the sun over the summer. Please bare with us as we get to grips with our new ways of working including all this new technology!
