Description

XF60/2.4 - AF with partially external focus, small, light but not sealed. Focuses to 1:2, with better working distances than the 30mm. Better at living moving critters. AF dated but OK on later bodies. Great bokeh. An excellent all-rounder if you don't need > 1:2. Works with extension tubes to give greater magnification. For general telephoto topics and portrait photography, I am looking forward to seeing what Fujifilm comes up with for a new XF 56mm f/1.2 R LM WR (expected in 2022). This lens will be more compact and probably suit my style of photography better.

This 80mm works great for general photography, and the 90mm f/2 works even better if you don't need stabilization Focus range limiter switch allows you to constrain the focus range to between 9.8 inches and 1.6 feet, 1.6 feet to infinity, or for the whole 9.8 inches to infinity range for more responsive focusing depending on the distance to your subject. Mirrorless cameras are faster, lighter, and function better in low-light than DSLR cameras. To put it simply, they are the next level of digital camera. As the technology matures, so too will the prevalence of mirrorless cameras over DSLR. Why Choose Macro? Whether you are entering the world of macro photography or adept in the subtle style, the Fujifilm 80mm f2.8 XF LM OIS WR Macro Lens is a perfect option. The maximum F2.8 aperture, focal length that's equivalent to 122mm (in 35mm format) and 1.0x magnification factor means this lens is capable of capturing some stunning close up shots. Unlike some macro lenses, this lens supports hand-held use with the built-in optical image stabiliser which means you can take this lens out into the field without the need for additional kit. Finally, this is a Fujifilm lens after all and with that, a high quality build and beautifully ergonomic design is ensured. Take a look at the gorgeous sample images below! Having used the XF 90mm f/2 R LM WR for a number of years for travel, portraits, sports, and landscape photography I give it my highest rating. And yet I sold it as I was putting money towards my seemingly endless gear wish list. Selling the XF 90mm f/2 has nothing to do with poor performance and I could buy it again in a heartbeat.Hello Fuji friends! I would like to buy a macro lens for my XT-2, XH-1, X-Pro2. What would you recommend either Fuji or other manufacturers? Thank you for your assistance.

Disclaimer. The lens I used for testing was an early prototype lens, and image quality might not be final, but unless Fujifilm has a contract with the image-quality-gods there isn’t really any more magic that can be sprinkled onto the lens. So IQ is probably final. On the Fujifilm XF 80mm f/2.8, OIS works by suppressing angle and shift shake using a gyro and acceleration sensor. Regardless of the tech involved, it works a treat.

In the XF 30mm F2.8 R LM WR Macro lens, Fujifilm have employed an iris diaphragm with 9 rounded blades, which has resulted in appealing bokeh in our view. Bokeh, the feel or quality of out-of-focus areas as opposed to how far out of focus they are, is pretty good. Blur circles tend to be circles with well-defined edges rather than soft blobs. I’m coming to the end of this article on the best Fujifilm X macro lenses (aps-C sensor). The main point is here and you should be able to make a real thoughtful choice! I will continue to write about Fujifilm lenses little by little! I also wrote a post about the best Fujifilm pancake lenses if you are interested in this type of lens! This 80mm macro is for people getting very close. This 80mm works great for general photography, and the 90mm f/2 works even better. Disclaimer II: I’m an official X-photographer. My views are most likely as biased as they come. This being said, I’m an open and honest guy and I speak my opinions. Whether you believe my views of this lens or not, at least you get to see some images from Denmark 😛 This isn’t a lens that’s totally reliant on being used indoors or on a tripod, either. The optical image stabilisation system is effective at suppressing handshake and the lens isn’t out of its depth when asked to shoot shallow depth of field portraits.

If this 1,200×900 pixel crop is about 12" (30cm) wide on your screen, then the complete image printed at this same extreme magnification would be about 42 × 62" (3.5 × 5.2 feet or 1.05 × 1.6 meters).Super ED super extra-low dispersion element, which helps reduce secondary axial chromatic aberration even more. Are you looking for a “medium” range macro lens at price point somewhere between the aforementioned Fuji 80mm and the Zeiss 60mm? Keeping in mind that as a 1:1 macro lens the focal plane, even with a narrow aperture like f/8, is quite fine. While working on a tripod, I was able to slow my shutter speed right down and ensure that the light and level of detail was captured. I’ve got images of the dust on tiny objects being sharp and clear.
