Description

Sipped, Whitley Neill shows a bit more of its spice-forward side. Tart lemon zest, bitter orange zest and a vague spicy character that’s hard to place specifically. It has hints of cubeb pepper, cardamom, and creamy cassia, while being none of those clearly. The spice notes combine to produce a novel accord. Whitley Neill has a contemporary style palate buoyed by a classic nose. As a Martini the juniper dominates the nose but is nearly absent on the palate— a tad misleading. We think that's all part of its charm. It has a wonderful flavour that offers something different for the increasing number of beer drinkers enjoying low alcohol beers, making Little Ginger Swine a welcome new addition to the Little Swine family of beers." It has a vivid and candied flavor of lemon with strong lemon leaf and oil facet. In the first sip, Whitley Neil shows its spiced forward side a bit more. It has the flavor of bitter orange zest, tart lemon zest, and spicy flavors. But further, the U.S. gets a rare treat— a gin that preceded the Gin Renaissance and has thrived in the past fifteen years. It’s a good gin that works well behind the bar and has a smooth, flavorful character that will appeal to adventurous home drinkers and fans of contemporary style gins that haven’t forgot about juniper.

There are many unique factors that make Whitley Neill stands out from the rest. The brand is among the top five Gin. It is the number 1 brand of gin int the UK. It has won various awards. The brand is popular for its different flavored Gin. Herrera said: “The coconut tree has always had a strong link to the Bacardi family, being the emblem of the company symbolising the coconut palm that was planted at the original Bacardi Rum distillery. Johnny Neill, founder of Whitley Neill Gin, says: “Launching just in time for the Spring and Summer seasons, our two new distinctive flavours, Apple & Red Berries and Banana & Guava exemplify our commitment to creating the best tasting gins and innovative blends. Enjoying Spritzes has become a popular trend, and Whitley Neill’s high quality, flavoured gins lend themselves perfectly to this serve. Whether it’s to enjoy when entertaining at BBQs, social get togethers, staycations or as an aperitif at home, the new innovative editions will bring a bit of sunshine to gin lovers across the UK.”

Flavor Profile

Offshore Island deliveries will take longer than two days including Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Scottish Highlands and Islands and Scilly Isles. For gin lovers who like a classic combination, the Whitley Neill Apple & Red Berries gin is a superb choice. Including a luscious blend of crisp apples and tangy red berries, it is delicious enjoyed with a classic Mediterranean tonic and garnished with fresh berries, or even with lemonade and topped with Prosecco for the ever popular Spritz serve. Alongside the launch, the brand has also refreshed its bottle design, which will be rolled out across the portfolio over the next few months, according to Adams.

These two launches with their on-trend, fruity flavours are no exception. We’re confident they will perform well this summer. Understanding this desire was key in creating Bacardi Caribbean Spiced and ensuring the flavours and aged rum quality were intensified to deliver the best craftmanship and taste. Halewood Artisanal Spirits has expanded its Whitley Neill range with the launch of two flavoured gins: Apple & Red Berries and Banana & Guava. Both gins rest at 43.1% ABV and are available to buy in the UK

Tasting Notes

Whitley Neill has launched two new flavoured gins for the summer, and they're the definition of a summer tipple. Overall bartenders will find that Whitley Neill Gin makes a pretty consistent mixing gin that while contemporary reads to most consumers as gin. Overall, Whitley Neill Gin

Lots of juniper up front— this may be surprising to people who know Whitley Neill primarily from their syrupy, flavored gins— but there’s an element of the nose that reads as a bit classic. The lemon is vivid and candied (I only said a bit!) with a strong lemon leaf and oil facet.Whitley Neill offers quality gin that are ideal with any drinks. The flavor notes are enriched with spice and lemon. It includes spice notes like creamy cassia, cubeb pepper, and cardamom. Rachel Adams, global marketing director, Halewood Artisanal Spirits, said: “With eight generations of distilling heritage behind us, consumers know they can expect great-tasting, quality gins from Whitley Neill. However, as a gin, Whitley Neill still shows its stuff— it has a contemporary style flare while still retaining a lot of juniper, coriander and citrus character. It’s unmistakably a gin.

A strong cherry stout, Blossom (7% ABV) contains dark roasted malts and silky oats at its core, boasting flavours of chocolate and coffee on the palate with a fruity sweetness tempered by a liberal dose of spicy and peppery hops alongside a light and dry finish. Enjoying Spritzes has become a popular trend, and Whitley Neill’s high quality, flavoured gins lend themselves perfectly to this serve,” Neill added. “Whether it’s to enjoy when entertaining at BBQs, social get togethers, staycations or as an aperitif at home, the new innovative editions will bring a bit of sunshine to gin lovers across the UK.” The brand is popular for its syrupy flavored gins but has some unique element that makes it a bit classic. It has a different flavor note among which lemon is vivid. The strong flavor of the lemon is because of the lemon leaf and oil facet. A whole new dimension to the aroma of the Gin is added by the botanical Cape gooseberries. The gin also includes six other botanicals of high quality to enhance the aroma and flavor. Halewood Artisanal Spirits global marketing director Rachel Adams said: “With eight generations of distilling heritage behind us, consumers know they can expect great tasting, quality gins from Whitley Neill. The strong consumer response to the existing Little Swine beers has shown demand for low alcohol beers with plenty of character continues to grow. Beyond that Whitley Neill Gin is distilled on a century old copper pot still and other than the two signature botanicals, the bill is pretty standard. It’s distilled on a base of grain spirit and bottled at 43% ABV. Tasting Notes The two new flavours include 'Apple & Red Berries' and 'Banana and Guava'. Similar to all the other gins in the Whitley Neill range, the two new exotic flavours have been inspired by founder Johnny Neill's travels. Luscombe owner and founder Gabriel David said: “Inspired by the rose featured in the Coronation emblem, our limited-edition Rose & Cherry Bubbly has been crafted with Royal celebrations in mind.
