Fans are eager to hear what Nessa Barrett has in store next. Her ‘Young Forever’ tour is set to continue in Europe later this month. The “die first” singer also surprised fans with an official music video for “American Jesus” directed by Loris Russier. In the video, Barrett waits in a trailer in the middle of nowhere for her love interest to show up on a motorcycle and take her away. The pair dance together in what appears to be an abandoned house and enjoy the small moments together before seemingly tying the knot in an unofficial ceremony with no one else in attendance. The video then takes an intense turn. Barrett’s love interest is wanted by the police and although the pair try to escape on a private jet, he is caught just before they can. Viewers are left in suspense, however, as the visual concludes with the jet flying in the sky after Barrett’s “American Jesus” attempts to escape from the cop car.
