Kirby will receive Joker's mask, hair, and gun. The copied move is Gun, where, when used will make Kirby fire a gun. Gunshots can be fired in multiple directions or in a circle, with the player being able to fire multiple gunshots consecutively. Kirby cannot copy Joker's Rebellion Gauge, and thus, he does not have access to Gun Special, as he cannot summon Arsene. Captain Falcon · Donkey Kong · Fox · Jigglypuff · Kirby · Link · Luigi · Mario · Ness · Pikachu · Samus · Yoshi Kirby gets a hat resembling a rhinoceros beetle. Kirby can swing his horn at enemies, grab them with his horn, and fly using his wings.

Pink puff people, your day has finally come–welcome to the BoxLunch Nintendo Kirby merch & shirts collection! We wish we could fly you in on a Warp Star (in total Kirby fashion) straight to this assortment, but the internet will have to do. If you’re a big fan of this perfect pink puff who’s got a habit of consuming his opponents whole, you’re going to be an even bigger fan of this Kirby-approved selection. Viridi: Oh, that part's easy. Just keep wailing on him. Then we'll see who's stronger: that little puffball... or Kirby! Gives Kirby the ability to short hop double laser and even short hop triple laser as a result of his floatiness. In imitation of Donkey Kong's grunts, Kirby says "Gao!" when unleashing a fully-charged punch, which is a Japanese onomatopoeia for an animalistic roar. In SSB, Kirby can charge-cancel the wind-up to turn more easily in the air.

Kirby gets a Luma of his very own after inhaling Rosalina! It doesn't stay long enough to team up with him, though--it flies forward and then vanishes. ” Regardless of which of the characters Kirby inhales, he will receive Bowser Jr.'s tuft of hair and a bandana resembling the one worn by Bowser Jr. He gains the ability Clown Cannon, which will cause a cannon to appear in Kirby's mouth upon pressing the special button. How far the cannonball travels depends on how long the special button is held.

While R.O.B. does not emit a vocalization during this move, Kirby says "beep" in a monotone voice. Resembles Laser Kirby in both design and function. At 20 cm (8 inches) tall, Kirby is the second shortest playable character in the Super Smash Bros. series, larger only than Captain Olimar as of Brawl with Olimar at ~1.9 cm (~0.75 inches). [4] Kirby is usually considered to be young. This is concluded due to his child like attitude, his pitched voice, and various indications in the manual and the anime. Since he has an endless belly he spends a lot of time eating. He likes all types of food, and no matter how much he eats he never increases in size, even when devouring meal after meal in events such as Gourmet Race in Kirby Super Star. He especially likes to eat Maxim Tomatoes, which are so healthy that they replenish his health. While he doesn't use the Monado as a weapon, Kirby can still use it to apply Monado Arts to himself. Unlike K. Rool, Kirby does not don a pirate hat, but still mimics the animation of K. Rool taking off the hat at the end of the move.Former Chelsea defender Gilly Flaherty told BBC Radio 5 Live Kerr was "clinical" and also applauded Kirby's impact. Kirby obtains a cap resembling the top of Greninja's head and gains the move Water Shuriken. Holding the special button will build up the shuriken's power and size; releasing the button will send the shuriken traveling forward. The larger the shuriken is, the more damage it will deal, but it will also travel slower. At its largest, it will be automatically released and will deal repeated damage to opponents. Kirby obtains a cap resembling the top of Charizard's head along with a pair of tiny dragon-like wings. In Brawl, he also changes into a dark, red color. He gains the special move Flamethrower. Holding the special button will have Kirby breathe fire, which can be angled up or down. The fire will gradually diminish over time, however. Kirby's floatier jumps mean that using Water Shuriken in the air will give Kirby a more noticable boost in height than Greninja's.

Ninja Kirby (PAL) " Making its debut in Kirby's Adventure Wii, the Moonja enemy looks about as ninja as you can get. Swallow one, and Kirby will become a master of the ninja arts too! Knife Throw, Wall Cling, Smoke Screen and Blossom Storm - with such a variety of useful skills, you might never want to let this Copy Ability go!" Other appearances [ ] Cameos [ ] Manga: Kirby has appeared in various manga, none of which have been translated from their original language (Japanese). Kirby of the Stars: The Story of Dedede Who Lives in Pupupu had 25 books, though other Kirby mangas are usually one book which are basically comedies. Germany's Club Nintendo in the nineties published a variety of manga-styled comics featuring video game characters. Kirby was one of the main characters in the manga, as was Nintendo's other famous property Super Mario. Kirby's ears and hair tuft are now colored pink, regardless of which color Kirby is currently using. Hammer Flip (with the non-charged version called Hammer in the British English version) is Kirby's side special move in Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS / Wii U and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, based on the Hammer Flip move used by the Hammer ability in the Kirby series and replacing his Hammer side special from the previous Super Smash Bros. games. When used, Kirby pulls out a hammer and holds it before swinging it; the move can be charged by holding down the special move button, and Kirby can move while charging. After some time, the hammer catches fire, and by charging it too much, Kirby starts to be damaged one point at a time, though it does not if Kirby's damage is above 100%. If used in the air uncharged, Kirby swings twice horizontally, like the Hammer in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. The "Susie (Weekend Outfit)" and "Ribbon (Friend's Hairstyle)" dress-up masks are the only dress-up masks to introduce a brand-new alternate form for a preexisting character, the latter being based on the hairstyle of the green fairy seen in Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards.

In Smash 64, Kirby only has two victory poses, as opposed to the usual three. This makes Smash 64 Kirby the only character in the series to have less than three victory poses. Kirby will don a full-body outfit resembling Piranha Plant's head, with Kirby's arm's and face peeking out through the mouth. Kirby will also receive the special move Ptooie which allows Kirby to spit out a spike ball and keep it airborne by blowing on it. This damage dealing ball can be launched either left/right or swallowed by Kirby if the move is canceled. Kirby normally looks as tasty as a big ol' marshmallow, but he's significantly less appetizing when he's copied the Needle ability. Those pokey spikes won't add any flavor at all. With this ability, Kirby can bash into enemies or launch the spikes at them. A great, easy-to-use ability! Once upon a time, all Fire Kirby could do was shoot flames from his mouth, but he's come a long way since then. Now he can roll along the ground as a blazing fireball, burn up grass, light fuses, melt ice and so on. That's great and all, but what we really want to know is...can he help us get a barbecue going?

Hero is the only character whose weapon Kirby can copy, but not use, with the Supreme Sword of Light being purely aesthetic. Inhaling another Kirby will not do anything if the other Kirby doesn't have an ability. If the other Kirby does have an ability, it can be stolen, essentially swapping the abilities the Kirbys had. The Smash Bros. copy ability (seen in Kirby & The Amazing Mirror, Kirby's Dream Collection Special Edition, and Kirby: Planet Robobot) allows Kirby to use his standard moveset from the Super Smash Bros. series in the mainline Kirby games. Diddy Kong · Ike · King Dedede · Lucario · Lucas · Meta Knight · Olimar ( Pikmin) · Pit · Pokémon Trainer ( Squirtle · Ivysaur · Charizard) · R.O.B. · Snake · Sonic · Toon Link · Wario · Wolf · Zero Suit SamusRetains Ryu's ability to perform a stronger Hadoken and the Shakunetsu Hadoken with the appropriate input. Resembles Fighter Kirby, who is also capable of performing Ryu's other special moves in certain games. Kirby's Return to Dream Land and Kirby: Triple Deluxe also include the ability to fire stronger fireballs (called "Mega Force Blast", or "Hadou-Shot" in Japan) instantly by performing the traditional Hadoken input. He also says the names of all the variations of the move like with Ryu, though if a Hadoken is already out, he with say "Hah!" unlike Ryu, who simply grunts. Kirby obtains a doctor's head mirror and Dr. Mario's special move, Megavitamin. Pressing the special button will have Kirby launch a Megavitamin forward, which will bounce around off the ground and walls for a time, disappearing either when it travels far enough or after dealing damage to an opponent. Due to Kirby's lower height, the Megavitamins do not bounce as high compared to when Dr. Mario launches them. Following Kirby's Adventure, the first game of what is commonly referred to as the Dark Matter trilogy was released. Like the rest of the Dark Matter trilogy, this game is tied with Shinichi Shimomura who became the series director alongside Sakurai for a while and worked on his own three games thus contributing to the series' early identity. The Dark Matter trilogy is the first attempt to create a narrative that lasts multiple games. Dark Matter being at this point the most recurring threat in the lore of Kirby. The first game of this trilogy is Kirby's Dream Land 2. In this game, the rainbow bridges connecting the Rainbow Islands have been stolen by King Dedede. Kirby with his animal friends set out to defeat what they perceive to be another attempt from the king to be a nuisance. Once they reach Dedede, they realize that he is not in his normal state and that he is possessed by an unknown presence. If they have gathered every Rainbow Drops, they fuse into the Rainbow Sword and it is revealed that the dark presence possessing Dedede is a mysterious invader known as the Dark Matter Blade. Kirby engage the invader in a sword fight above Pop star and the invader eventually reveal his true form in a second phase. This true form would later become the regular form of the rest of the Dark Matter species. Kirby defeats Dark Matter Blade as the Rainbow Sword is one of its weaknesses and restores the Rainbow Bridges. Like Ken, Kirby cannot perform the Shakunetsu Hadoken (which is not part of Ken's moveset), but can use a stronger Hadoken through the traditional input. However, Kirby cannot perform the Oosoto Mawashi Geri or the Nata Otoshi Geri as Ken can. Incidentally, Kirby has separate voice clips for Ken's Hadoken instead of using the same voice clips used for Ryu's version. Unlike Ken, Kirby remains quiet if he attempts to fire a Hadoken while one's already in play. If you have a rare hat for Kirby, you can change hats by pressing [top button] when selecting a character! ”
