OP–Z is tailor made for controlling rich 3D animations in real-time sync with your tunes and beats. snap a series of photos and sequence them to a beat. compose a song and create a completely synchronised music video 'a-la-minute'. the photomatic feature included in the OP–Z app is just pure instant fun. with the OP–Z app you see the numbers and graphs behind the music you create in real time. at a glance, you know how your instruments are balanced in the the built-in fx are delay, reverb, bit-crush and distortion. future firmware upgrades will expand the OP–Z with even more fx. l’appareil doit accepter tout brouillage radioélectrique subi, même si le brouillage est susceptible d’en compromettre le fonctionnement.

The OP-Z is unlike anything else on the market right now. TE might have another cult classic on its hands here. thank you for choosing the OP–Z multimedia sequencer and synthesizer. we are proud to present to you this portable, powerful and playful music making device.and signal yellow (pictured above). we're also happy to introduce a new line of fresh color-coded cables in various lengths and configurations. OP–Z is perfect to bring along when traveling. so much that we felt the need to create a range of travel-cases protecting your OP–Z.

the project button lets you choose one of the 10 projects where you work on your songs. each project this equipment complies with fcc radiation exposure limits set forth for an uncontrolled environment. this transmitter must not be co-located or operating in conjunction with any other antenna or transmitter. It's small and that's not a problem. It's easy to play once you get used to it and if you're a commuter this is hands down one of the best ways to pass time on a train.l’émetteur exempt de licence contenu dans le présent appareil est conforme aux cnr d’Innovation, sciences et développement économique canada applicables aux appareils radio exempts de licence. l’exploitation est autorisée aux deux conditions suivantes : Fortunately, TE have created a free control app (currently iOS-only, but forthcoming for Android too). This runs via Bluetooth, and gives full visualisation of the sequencer, sound engines and effects (using some great eye-catching graphics), and also acts as a screen for the visual sequencers. It’s really nicely designed, and helps to clarify and open up the OP-Z’s capabilities – to the extent that I’d be wary of recommending the OP-Z to anyone without the ability to run the companion app. press and hold [tempo]. turn the [green] dial to adjust the bpm to your liking, between 40–200 bpm. while in play mode press and hold shift and momentarily hold the piano keys to add different punch-in effects. by exposing the inner control data of the OP–Z and linking it to unity® users can create anything within unity®, customizing every single polygon in a performance and completing the live set with unique visuals.

this equipment complies with ic rss-102 radiation exposure limits set forth for an uncontrolled environment. this transmitter must not be co-located or operating in conjunction with any other antenna or transmitter.photomatic lets you add up to 10 sequences with 24 pictures each, all possible to edit with the colored dials. Great as a makeshift drum machine for live jamming. The live effects make for dynamic sounding drum fills. Similarly, setting the synth to random can create really interesting loops.

Some additional expression can be added with the rubber pad on the front edge of the unit: it's a bi-directional, pressure–sensitive input that acts as a pitch–bend controller. It can also adjust the velocity of steps in the sequencer. Control changes can be recorded in real time, or sequenced per-step using the 'Swedish method' of holding a step while dialling in a parameter setting. before connecting this unit to other devices, turn off the power to all units. this will help prevent malfunctions and/or damage to speakers or other devices. if you need to connect/disconnect wires during use, always make sure to connect the cable to the OP-Z first. never connect the 3.5mm plugs going from the OP-Z‘s input or output to a mic input on a sound card with phantom power active. this could destroy the ports on the OP-Z. be sure to charge the unit using only 5v usb power, such as that from the usb ports of a computer, or by using a dedicated usb charger. make sure you always have the OP-Z placed so it is level and sure to remain stable. use your OP-Z where the ambient temperature is between 10° and 35° C (50° and 95° F) and the relative humidity is between 0 and 95%RH. never install or use the unit in any of the following locations:

OP–Z

OP–Z comes with 12 synthesis based sound engines. more sound engines will be released continuously and made available through the configurator in the OP–Z app. Technically there’s nothing you can’t do with the hardware alone, and there’s something to be said for relying more on your ears than parameter data, but functions like making LFO assignments or rearranging Step Components would prove very tough without access to a screen. The OP-Z hardware itself features a rechargeable (and user-replaceable) battery, which is charged using the included USB-C to USB 3 connector. There are currently eight synth engines, plus the PCM sample player. The synths have a similar vibe to the OP-1, with some unusual, bright digital flavours and physical modelling algorithms and a couple of traditional synths. Each synth only has two unique parameters to adjust. Some synths have a wider tonal range than others, but all are generally useful as basses, leads or pads, depending on the pitch and envelope you use. if this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures: I've been using Korg grooveboxes from the electribe series for years and this does everything those machines did, better and in a way that's much more user friendly. I can't possibly sing the praises of this synth within the word limit of this review but I'll try.
