Although they would never admit it, social position is more important to many people than is the survival of freedom in America. The kindle version of this book is riddled with typos, but it feels as if it were a conversion issue.

The most bizarre thing about this way of looking at politics is that it doesn't tell you much about what we're getting "more of" as we go further right or further left, other than "extremism," which tells you quite little. On the face of it, that is absurd, since Communists claim they would take the assets of the wealthy, and redistribute them to the poor! It puts the 21st century lifelong liberal in an awkward spot, actually, as we have to be sympathetic - even defensive - for President Nixon. His argument, made on page 21 in all-caps is that Communism is "AN INTERNATIONAL, CONSPIRATORIAL DRIVE FOR POWER ON THE PART OF MEN IN HIGH PLACES WILLING TO USE ANY MEANS TO BRING ABOUT THEIR DESIRED AIM - GLOBAL CONQUEST.It‘s not a dumb conspiracy theory book, it‘s a warning to people of USA of Nixonian era about REAL people and REAL organizations, but its warnings are still relevant today, and especially in 2020, before USA president elections.

Picking apart even a few of the inconsistencies and inanities sprinkled throughout this book would take more time and space than I'm willing to commit, and if you're a Trump supporter or Alex Jones fan, you're not going to listen to reason anyway. Many details are given in a historical narrative that, if true, would alarm anyone who loves this country. I for one hope these plans do not come to fruition, but when you read this book you will be amazed at how today's events look as if their plan is coming together. At first it will receive little publicity and those whose plans are exposed in it will try to kill it by the silent treatment.It is a bit dated, but the concepts haven't changed just the individuals and stories he tells about.
