I will include a quote from "The Imitation of Christ" by Thomas Kempis: "He who follows me walketh not in darkness.

I just completely think and believe the exorcism industry and community, are just persons' whom are trying to be exceptional in being associated as a person whom God's provided and gifted with exceptional "supernatural" or "spiritual" gifted abilities. The author states how important is to submit to the authority of the Church, yet admits to performing thousands of unauthorized exorcisms. Though it contained a few additional piece of information, it was so similar to the first book that I wouldn't recommend it unless you're interested in those two topics. Here is a quick description and cover image of book An Exorcist Tells His Story written by Gabriele Amorth which was published in January 1, 1990. It's a tradesman's book--a discussion of the nuts and bolts, of the challenges, and of the community.

Bạn biết gì về vấn đề lên đồng, cầu cơ, nghề phù thủy, bùa ngải, ma thuật đen… Những cách người ta bỏ bùa, với những ảnh hưởng cùng những vật lạ liên quan đến vấn đề này. Jest to natomiast przewidziana i dobrze zaplanowana metoda do osiągnięcia konkretnego rezultatu: doprowadzenia słuchaczy do stanu zmieszania i nieporządku [. Father Gabriele Amorth (1925-2016) was undoubtedly the most famous Catholic exorcist of the modern era.

A good book, not necessarily one I'd recommend, but quite eye opening to get a glimpse within the Catholic Rites and a challenge to Protestants: why do we not reject Satan at the time of our initiation into faith? These examples are what really make the book worth reading because, though they're poorly documented and certainly open to all kinds of skeptical rebuttal, they nevertheless portray the experience of possession and exorcism in the way Amorth sees them, and there's a lot of value in that. In addition, he must rely solely on the "Word of God" and traditional prayer, be completely detached from monetary concerns, be profoundly humble, and treasure obscurity. Niestety, o ile kilka lat temu ta książka wywarła na mnie pewne wrażenie, obecnie nie potrafię jej już docenić w żaden sposób.

In 1990, he founded the International Association of Exorcists and was president until his retirement in 2000.Church militant, pray your rosary daily, cooperate with the grace of God, receive the Sacraments devoutly, and above all, trust in his God's mercy. It is not meant to scare or titillate, but to inform from Father Amorth’s extensive experience as an exorcist. He also reveals how little modern science, psychology, and medicine can do to help those under Satan’s influence, and that only the power of Christ can release them from this kind of mental, spiritual or physical suffering. I read An Exorcist Tells His Story, the precursor to this book, hoping for a personal narrative from Father Amorth's experiences as an exorcist.

And you can't really tell for yourself if you are, because apparently losing control over your body and being trapped inside your head is one of the most extreme signs of possession, some sort of a final stage and not the norm or even the beginning. There are many episodes where he narrates about the exorcism but to the end part of the book I felt little boring, I don't know the reason. I much preferred the accounts of Ed and Lorraine Warren, who speak about exorcisms but take a holistic and nonjudgemental perspective and who are also completely different storytellers.Amorth, who was 91 at the time, is seen chanting Latin phrases in an attempt to cast out evil spirits.
