Going in to the nitty gritty Bass on the A5000 is impactful and dynamic. Certainly enough for all genres. The bulk of the bass here is from the sub-bass and lower mid bass. This allows for a cleaner mid range presentation. Driveability: I know I need to use the 4.4 port on my dongle immediately. The A4000 does shine with more power. Inside the silicone case houses the A5000 itself, paired with final's new OFC Silver-coated cable. Build The sound quality was designed based on Final's unique evaluation method established during the development of the flagship earphone A8000. In addition to transparent sound (when you clearly hear sounds that are localized at a distance), you can hear even finer sounds in the mid-low range giving each sound a sense of depth. In addition, a newly designed 2-pin soft silver-coated cable developed for the A5000 comes standard with its easy to handle braided cable. New Sound Quality Evaluation That artificiality is where the smooth sound of the A4K bests the OH-1, and one could rightly justify choosing either for the character presented. Bass that is strong and rich versus a smooth texture. The OH-1 is good for that smashmouth sound, while the A4K would be the brandy after dinner on a snowy night. Neither is wrong.

At the end of it, the A5000 is a gem of an IEM especially at its price. Featuring a gloriously balanced sound, enchantingly beautiful imaging and ergonomics. This is a full-featured IEM for those looking beyond entry-level. As an upgrade to the A3000 and A4000, the A5000 is a complete success. Its sound signature is a perfect evolution of the A4000, adding even more width and greater dimension to its response, with an added helping of bass and airiness. The new cable was a much needed upgrade, and the earphones themselves are an comfortable as ever. Even with these upgrades, I feel like Final Audio could go even further with this design and make something truly special. For now, the A5000 is a great addition to this series. It's nonetheless the best experience you can currently get, maybe at the exception of the A5000 (that I have yet to try) The midrange is among the most natural you can find, and by far the best at its price point. Although relaxed, it's an incredibly rich and faithful to instruments replay. Orchestrals and chamber music are a pleasure to listen to with this set. Final Audio expands its 'A' series line of IEMs with the A5000 bringing a new custom sound with a new custom dynamic driver The E4000 is more about warmth, widely boosting its low end and seemingly using the rest of its frequency response for its roll off: the higher in frequency you go, the quieter things get. This gives it a fun, fuzzy, low end character that prominently drives mix, while still retaining enough high mid presence to ward off an outright muffled sound character.

A3000, on the other hand, does not have the “reference” and engaging presentation of A4000, but instead it is warmer and relaxing, although less dynamic than A4000. However, if you prefer a warmer presentation, you will find it much better than many IEMs that you have tried so far, which is mainly due to its transparency, soundstage and image. Furthermore, Final eartips are very nicely designed, providing a high level of sound isolation, so ambient noise with A4000 or A3000 was never a problem. Starting off with the Mid-bass/Sub-bass test I’m using David Guetta’s “I’m Good (Blue).” The intro bass drums have good impact, but nothing too crazy/overwhelming. The sub-bass at 0:38 is surprisingly strong, uncommon for Eastern IEMs – Final has definitely learned what the Western market likes. I’d guess close to 68-70 dB on the sub-bass. Sony NW-A105 Walkman: I like this pairing a lot as the warmer tones of the Sony tame the overly bright and sparkly tendencies. The A5000 is equipped with the f-Core DU driver, which was developed and designed entirely in-house, including parts and production equipment. The sound quality was designed based on final's unique evaluation method established during the development of the flagship earphone A8000. In addition to the so-called "transparent sound" that allows you to clearly hear sounds that are localized at a distance, you can hear even the finer sounds in the mid-low range, giving each sound a sense of depth. I can. In addition, a newly designed 2-Pin soft silver-coated cable developed for the A5000 is standard equipment. The braided cable makes it easy to handle, and you can feel the A5000's sound even more clearly. The TONALITY is vivid, detailed, clear and precise, not neutral because it has a small rise in the bass and high mids, rather a well-balanced W curve. One could say analytical too, but not cold or artificial. It is less well balanced than the A8000, but extremely cohesive and even hyper-realistic. Despite amplified bass, there is almost no bleed. In fact, the A4000 surprises ad infinitum, due to a stunning versatility that surely comes from this little bass boost. The Final Audio A4000 and Moondrop Blessing 2 have a lot of similarities and one major difference. Price difference is obvious but let's continue with the sound comparison. The tone is very similar between the two but timbre is a clear win for the Blessing 2. The A4000 has a small boost in the bass that adds just a touch of oomph that some say is missing with the Blessing 2. The mids of the Blessing 2 have better body, weight and density and are not near as forward as the A4000; nor do they sound floaty. The bottom end of the mids are more pleasing on the Blessing 2. The treble is better controlled and not as intense on the Blessing 2. BUT the biggest and most major difference between the Blessing 2 and A4000 is the detail retrieval and resolution; the Blessing 2 is by far the superior, not even close in comparison. Do A4000 and A3000 have weaknesses? Don’t we all have? One could criticize the housing, which is ABS resin, the cable that is 2-Pin OFC cable, and probably a couple of other things. However, you forget all of these as soon as you put A4000 or A3000 in your ears, and you realize that you have two all-rounders with class leading performance, with the noted differences between them, at a fraction of what they should cost. I bet that if you try them, you will thank me for it! The MMCX connector was developed in-company. We've used high-purity OFC silver coated cables that provide a wide sound stage. These jointly-developed cables were originally designed by and are currently manufactured by the well-renowned Junkosha corporation for the purpose of being used with the supercomputer "Kei" due to their fast signal transmission speed. The insulator film is made from PFA which was also developed by Junkosha who used their extensive know-how through the JUNFLON® brand to create the ultimate in low-permittivity material. The outer tube is made from PVC for maximum flexibility. The user will experience surprising flexibility that both makes the cable extremely easy to use as well as reducing the likelihood of microphonics. In addition, the MMCX plug and the 3.5 mm mini-plug have a tendency to disconnect so we've far exceeded the regular QA pass criteria of a 5,000-time bend test by changing the connection design to one that can withstand more than 50,000 bends.
