Local Heroes is a sports documentary following the careers of three iconic Nottingham Forest players. This amount includes seller specified domestic postage charges as well as applicable international postage, dispatch, and other fees.

The film will premiere in Nottingham in June 2023 and be released across all media in the UK to coincide with the end of the season and the Champions League final. Browse through every TV series and movie and sort by title, release year, genre, IMDB rating, and, most important— see where to watch it.I particularly liked the candid camera work, and the director John Warrington deserves great credit for keeping the feeling of ‘being in Nottingham’ running throughout the film. It is not a Brian Clough tribute film, but a genuine insight into local lads who became national legends and who achieved what will never ever be done again in football -Leceisters City's incredible story is a warm up act compared to this bit of history. With dips into the big hits of the times and the local paper archives, Local Heroes will make you appreciate what can happen when you dare to dream of playing for your local club and believing that impossible is nothing. This sort of thing is unrepeatable, to go from 2nd division to Kings of Europe in 3 years is the stuff of fairytales. If you are familiar with this period in English football, you’ll know that the lads played under perhaps the most charismatic football manager of them all, Brian Clough.

The film interviews the players both in their homes, in studio and on the streets of Nottingham where they grew up, and is a poignant look at what life was like growing up in 60s Great Britain. It also explores “football’s political and cultural transformation over the years and draws parallels between life as a footballer in the 1970s to life in the footballing world now”.Overall this appears to be a shoddy attempt to cash in on Forest's rise to the Premier League by some incompetent film-maker. Cinema Paradiso and all other Cinema Paradiso product and service names are trademarks of Pace-e-Solutions Limited or its affiliates. It would have been easy to sanitise this by getting the boys on a golf course in Dubai or a stark studio somewhere and recording the thing in a condensed time frame. The audio is hideous at times (none more so than during an interview with CEO of UK Meds where I couldn’t hear a single word he said). This compelling film, which will fittingly have its world premiere in Nottingham on May 25, 2023, charts the lives and careers of the three Nottingham Forest football players during a time of major political and social upheaval and cultural change in the UK.

Local Heroes explores football’s political and cultural transformation over the years and draws parallels between life as a footballer in the 1970s to life in the footballing world now. A new film telling the inspirational story of three Nottingham Forest legends has its world premiere later this month. Indeed, Viv Anderson was the first black footballer to play for his country, and had to deal with some serious stuff during his career.A must-see film for football fans, Local Heroes provides a captivating and moving glimpse into the lives of these determined individuals and sheds light on an inspiring, rarely heard story from the history of the beautiful game. There is footage so dark in this documentary that you can hardly see anything, and it’s just a person sat in a room.
