I really like the little exercises that you can do if you’re feeling anxious and it’s definitely a book I will be coming back to time and time again.

The main thing for an anxious child is that they feel in control and this book does exactly that, gives them the toolkit to recognise, cope with and tackle anxieties. It's all written in easy to understand language, and while I've been working through it with my daughter (which is lovely to do together), she could certainly read it herself.This will be a helpful book in the long run when I will love to revisit to answer some of those questions.

After spending a good hour exploring this journal for the first time I can see myself already purchasing and gifting many to friends and family. It has given her the tools she needs to put her worries and anxieties into context and has shown her ways to help manage her anger.Create your own calm is the perfect companion to Create your own happy (9780008301217) – empowering children to shape their lives and the lives of others around them. There are also lots and lots of practical tips and projects to put the child in control of how they tackle these thoughts and feels. Pick up a copy for those in your life who may not make it to yoga or their therapist quite as often as they’ve been meaning to. The book is beautiful to look at, full of colour and quotes, with lots of activities to encourage you to think and reflect. There are lovely quotes scattered throughout the pages and gorgeous illustrations that really add to the book.

Additionally, I wish she had talked about Anxiety more in the terms, as it is, of a real illness that is diagnosed by doctors.
