Description

All references to the Licensed Program shall mean the object code only of the program(s) comprising the Licensed Program. The Korg SQ-1 2x8 Analog Step Sequencer is a compact and versatile tool for musicians and electronic music producers. With its 2 x 8 step configuration, this step sequencer offers a wealth of creative possibilities. Designed to be compatible with a range of synthesizers, including the iconic MS-20, as well as vintage analog synths and modern compact units, the SQ-1 allows you to take control of your sound with ease. You agrees that the express obligations and warranties made by Korg in this Agreement are (so far as is permitted by law) in lieu of and to the exclusion of any other warranty, condition, term, undertaking or representation of any kind, express or implied, statutory or otherwise, relating to anything supplied or services provided under or in connection with this Agreement including (without limitation) any warranty as to the condition, quality, performance, merchantability or fitness for purpose of the Licensed Program and the Services or any part of them. Korg may on occasions supply software programs, data files and/or documentation belonging to a third party or parties (hereinafter collectively referred to as “Third Party Software”).

The SQ-1 provides two channels (A and B) of 8-step sequencer that can operate consecutively or be used in various other modes. You can run A and B in sequence to create a 16-step sequencer, play the steps randomly, or use A and B to control different parameters simultaneously. Whether you prefer simple sequences or complex changes, the SQ-1 offers a variety of modes to suit your needs and musical style. 2x8 step configuration - with step buttons taken from the Volca Also the performance controls taken from the Volca range are a godsend for spicing up sequences and live shows, so you can use Step Jump to instantly trigger steps manually, Active Step to change the length of sequences, Gate on/off to add/remove steps and Slide mode for smooth transitions between notes and 303-style workouts. Contents of owner’s manuals and content as found on korg.com may differ. Oh no! Why did I get blocked?

If any part of this Agreement is found by a court of competent jurisdiction or other competent authority to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable then such part shall be severed from the remainder of this Agreement which will continue to be valid and enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by law. Thanks to its compact design and versatile connectivity options, the Korg SQ-1 is a powerful and portable tool for any musician or producer. Whether you're a beginner exploring the world of electronic music or an experienced musician looking for a creative spark, the SQ-1 is a reliable and inspiring companion. Take your music to new heights with the Korg SQ-1 2x8 Analog Step Sequencer. The Korg MS20 rides again... again! The latest version takes the form of an expanded desktop module with accompanying sequencer. Korg, in no event, will be liable for the direct, derivative, collateral or consequential damage caused by the use of or the inability of using the Licensed Program (including but not limited to damage of data, lost commercial profit, interruption of work, lost commercial information), regardless of the degree of damages, and even if Korg was aware of the possibility of such damages or the possibility of a claim for damage from a third party in advance. MIDI-wise, the SQ1 is a close match for the MS20M because its spec is unspectacular. It can send notes on any consecutive pair of MIDI channels and responds to MIDI start and stop commands received over USB, but that’s about it. According to my Mac there are two USB MIDI ports: ‘SQ1 MIDI Out’ and ‘SQ1 CTRL’. The latter is intended to control the sequencer’s transport from your DAW, but there’s a bug in the current version in which the SQ1 stops sending notes as soon as it’s remotely started. Conclusions

With its ability to connect and control a wide range of equipment, versatile sequencer modes, innovative step buttons, and sturdy construction, the Korg SQ-1 2x8 Analog Step Sequencer is an essential tool for any musician or producer seeking intuitive and precise control over their music setup. Specifications Admittedly it’d take up rather a lot of value hp but it could be worth it, as the hub of a system. That said, it’s small and portable, so gigging with it may never be a concern. A little later I discovered that it is possible to access VCO2’s frequency in (almost) isolation, despite the loss of the dedicated CV input. It’s not clear from the manual, but when FM is active, the ‘Freq’ input (which ordinarily affects both VCOs) only affects VCO2. Now you can pipe in an LFO or other modulation source without disturbing the pitch of VCO1, although CV received at the main input still drives both in parallel.A very decent upgrade with genuinely pro features, that cements its position in the top handful of mini keyboard controllers available.
