They have a cool white LED ring around the JBL logo while in the case, and the LED charging status lights give a subtle human face look to the charging case when you close the translucent lid while charging. Don't know if that was intentional to 'humanize' the product, but a nice touch none the less. If all else fails and your JBL earbuds fall within the warranty period, you can expect to receive your new pair from JBL in the mail ASAP.

If you're familiar with JBL, it's most likely because of its speakers, whether you're talking Bluetooth or larger, more professional speakers. That said, the company has made waves with its true wireless earbuds (TWEs) recently, and it seems to be focusing more on this product category. I have used a number of wireless headphones over the years and these JBL’s have so far been one of my favorites! The controls are simple on these. You just take them off, they auto turn on, connect to your device, and you’re off! I used them with a few different devices and I never had any connectivity issues which was great. There is a small lag when trying to play/pause something with the buttons on the earbuds but it wasn’t a big deal.Now both earbuds should begin to flash Blue & Red indicating that Pairing has been initiated. After a few seconds, your Left earbud should only flash blue, indicating that your earbuds are now paired with one another. As mentioned above, the primary cause of this issue is a connection/ pairing issue, and in the majority of cases resetting your earbuds should solve the issue. The look of the JBL Live Free 2 is nice. Not particularly eye-catching, but notably more premium looking than the JBL Live Pro 2, which debuted alongside the Live Free 2. What once was common practice for business travelers has now become daily attire. It’s staggering to me to see the numbers of people with Bluetooth earpieces permanently affixed to the sides of their heads while walking, shopping, working, and even going to the movies. The JBL Live Free 2 Bluetooth Earbuds are a solid choice, both attractive and with great sound. I’ve enjoyed them very much, but… my wife has enjoyed them even more and has claimed them as her own. With dual-pairing, I’ll be borrowing them from her frequently.
