This is why Courvoisier takes great care to nurture every possible aroma at every possible stage of the cognac-making process.

Courvoisier VS 70cl is a blend of several crus aged between three and seven years, composed principally of Fins Bois with a balancing hand of Petite Champagne. The fusion of younger and older cognacs gives Courvoisier ® VS a fruity, delicate taste and a bouquet filled with ripe fruit and spring flowers. Courvoisier VS is produced through a blend of several crus which have been aged for three to seven years. A favourite in France for centuries, its list of honours and achievements not only includes the ‘Medaille d’Or’, an international prize of great acclaim, but one France’s greatest awards, the ‘Prestige de la France’, and Courvoisier have the distinction of being the only Cognac producers to have ever received it.Add a small brown sugar cube to a coupette glass and cover the sugar with a couple of dashes of bitters. Ripe fruits: The chalky soil in Fins Bois delivers a hint of ripened fruits that is its signature aroma. The celebrity drink du jour, Courvoisier VS Cognac is a lively blend of younger and older cognacs that deliver a unique bouquet of fresh fruit and delicate flowers. This combination allows for a Fruity and Delicate Cognac with refreshing Fresh Fruity notes on the fore with undertones of Oak and a lingering delicate finish.

The General Wine Company is a family-owned and operated wine merchant in Liphook, Hampshire, England. In terms of comparison, Courvoisier is unique in Cognac in that it controls the entire process from grape growing to distillation and ageing.Ingredients: 50ml Courvoisier VS 130ml San Pellegrino Pompelmo (Grapefruit) Glass: Highball Ice: Cubed Garnish: Slice of grapefruit Method: Fill a highball with ice.

You should also note that the picture images show only our serving suggestions of how to prepare your food - all table accessories and additional items and/or ingredients pictured with the product you are purchasing are not included. Delicate flavours of spring blooms meet notes of apple, pear and grapefruit, effortlessly complemented by a smooth and fresh oaky finish. The rich, fresh oak bouquet is controlled throughout the ageing process to make sure it doesn't dominate the young cognac. In terms of taste, Courvoisier VS would show floral, pear and grape tones, while Hennessy VS would have stronger flavours of oak and vanilla due to a different use of oak in the ageing process.
