A Gucci bag or a new iPhone for half the price? Who wouldn’t want to grab such a deal? Scammers know this too and try to take advantage of the fact. It’s important to keep yourself safe and know when you should just end the conversation. Don’t be afraid to hang up if you are unsure.

Don’t feel pressured to act straight away. Take your time and seek advice if you receive a call asking you to do something you’re not sure about. Estimated delivery times are provided to us by the respective delivery companies. We pass this information onto you, the customer. Unwanted sales and marketing calls can be stopped for free by signing up to the Telephone Preference Service. Most junk mail can also be stopped by opting out at the Mailing Preference Service. Over the past few weeks, we have been raising issues on behalf of vulnerable people and people affected by dementia to supermarkets as well as directly to Government.
