Whether you are looking to buy the boat for solo trips or family ones, you will find the Challenger K2 perfectly sized. The hand pump can be adjusted so it can be used to deflate the kayak faster. How this is done is also demonstrated in the second video I mentioned above. In other words, you won’t have a hard time setting up and folding the Excursion Pro Kayak. Inflating the kayak takes time, and some might find it tiring if a foot pump is used. You can’t launch right away. Keep in mind it is still an inflatable boat though, so you won’t be able to take it out in as rough and rapid conditions as a hardshell alternative.

In addition, the extra space in the middle can be used to carry more luggage or even a dog. With two people, the 3 seater is about 0.5 km/h faster and drifts less when you stop paddling.
