Description

As a running buggy, it’s a sturdy piece of kit with a suspension that can be adjusted to suit all running terrains - hello bumpy forest trails! The comfy padded seat (with five-point harness) offers a smooth ride and has plenty of room for kids of all sizes. There’s a rear light for added safety on grey days and adjustable airflow vents for sunny ones.

Suitable from: Birth to 22kg (around four years) | Weight: 11.5kg | Folded dimensions: 87 x 69 x 34 cm | Harness type: 5-point | Adjustable handlebar: Yes What we like The Little Nipper is very light. This is perhaps the thing you notice when you first get your hands on it. It has a very big seat which means it good longevity, I like the chunky chassis design but am not convinced by the double front wheel. I do however think the Little Nipper will be quite hard wearing when compared to traditional strollers. The handlebar can be adjusted to four different positions to suit parents of varying heights. At 5'6", this suits me very well and my 6’4” husband finds this accommodates his height perfectly too. Out N About Nipper Sport V4: what’s it like to use day-to-day? The Out n About Litte Nipper is an all-round brilliant pushchair. The design is modern and stylish, and comes with 3 different colour options to suit you and your baby - we had 'marine blue', the colour is bright and even nicer than it looks on the pictures! With being a lightweight buggy at 8kg, I have to say build quality has definitely not been compromised, it feels built to last with the aluminium frame. The overall feel is quite luxurious, the seat and straps have extra padding, made from a good quality material. It looks and feels comfy for baby, and is suitable from birth. The swivel wheels make this pushchair a dream to push, and very easy to manoeuvre. Another great feature is the 'one hand fold', which I loved as I have always struggled with folding until now! I thought this product was fantastic and my children really enjoyed travelling in it, it's lightweight, easy to use and comfy for the kids. I have tested this on a 18-month and 3-year-old and it has been just as easy to push around bearing in mind the weight difference of the kids!I have a Thule Chariot which is a bike trailer but also has a jogging wheel option too. I have jogged in rutted paths (woodland) and cycled loads, plus (it has smaller stroller wheels too) it bumps up and down curbs so easily. I'd recommend this one if you have lots of room for storage (I keep mine in our garage) and you are ever likely to cycle as well as run” - recommended by Mumsnet user, DontBuyANewMumCashmere Our verdict It won’t take a full supermarket shop, but should easily contain book bags, handbags and midweek pints of milk. The Nipper also comes with a large, effective rain cover as standard, which our tester found easy to use even in the most unexpected of downpours. How safe is the buggy?

With large air-filled tyres, rear-wheel suspension and lightweight frames, running buggies are sturdier than regular pushchairs and offer a smooth journey for both runners and riders. There’s no doubt that the Out N About Nipper Sport V4 has been designed primarily with running in mind, but it also functions very well as a day-to-day buggy, particularly if you live in a rural area and regularly do a good amount of off-roading like I do. Suitable from: Six months to 22kg (around four years) | Weight: 9.8kg | Folded dimensions: 61 x 61 x 104cm | Harness type: 5-point | Adjustable handlebar: Yes What we likeSuitable from: Birth to 22kg (around four years) | Weight: 10.8kg | Folded dimensions: 88 x 60 x 44 cm | Harness type: 5-point | Adjustable handlebar: Yes What we like I find that the frame also needs to be wiped down every now and again, especially when taking the buggy off-roading. Price and competition: is the Out N About Nipper Sport V4 good value for money? The Nipper Double has a reputation as an off-road buggy, and no wonder – its rear suspension and air-filled tyres make for a smooth ride over even the bumpiest woodland trail. But our tester found it equally well-suited to urban life, as the Out n About double buggy showed itself unfazed by school runs, park trips and errands in town. Very easy to use. However, seat recline using drawstring design is poor. Nice sized basket but due to design does catch on most things like doors steps and curbs so will show wear over short period of time, especially when items weight it down so it catches more.

Out ‘n’ About are a British brand with products designed right here in the UK and the whole range is loved by parents across the country for its excellent quality and great value for money pushchairs. Better folding mechanism would be nice, this can be quite fiddly. Tested by mum Keira-Jayne Blundell for the M&B Awards 2016: Relatively slimline width means it fits through almost all doorways, in the average car boot and on public transport

What's storage like on the Out N About Nipper Sport V4?

Mumsnet’s running community can’t get enough of the Out n Out brand and this Nipper 360 Double model is perfect if you have twins or want to transport a baby and a toddler together (just bear in mind that you’ll need to deal with an uneven weight distribution when running with kids of different ages). At 12.8kg, it’s one of the lightest double buggies on the market and weighs less than some of the single running buggies in our roundup. The Out n About Nipper Sport is great to run with, really light and supportive for the little one. It flies on tarmac and holds its own off road" - Mumsnet user, emmathedilemma

The seats look narrow, but in reality were among the roomiest we tested, with a solid foot plate and comfortable padded liners that can also be removed. The reclining mechanism uses a clip and straps that feel secure, even with a larger toddler weighing down the seat. The seat can be made more snug but adding in the liner that comes with the Little Nipper. It is a nice touch, but the material it is made from does appear a little low budget. The latest instalment of Out N About’s popular three-wheel running buggy, the Nipper Sport V4 is one such example. Ideal for jogging enthusiasts and lovers of the great outdoors, it offers all parents need to stay active with their child in tow. How we tested the Out N About Nipper Sport V4
